“Hehehe,” Autumn Blaze cracked up. “Are you a hotfudge sundae? Because you’re both cool and hot!”
She was going to say delicious too but even she knew that might come off as kind of creepy for someone she just met.
Sunset giggled at Autumn with smile. Gosh, that was cheesey. Let’s see if she could one up it. “Well, I think there might be something wrong with my eyes, because I can’t seem to take the off you.~”
“Oh, yeah. Do your hooves hurt? Because you’ve been running through my head all day!” the kirin countered.
“Well, do you like raisins?“ Sunset asked. "Because if you do, then how would you feel about trying a date with me?”
“Hehehe,” Autumn Blaze cracked up. “Are you a hotfudge sundae? Because you’re both cool and hot!”

“Thank you. It’s nice to know Marceline talks about me.. She can play dumb all she wants, I know where her interests lie… Most friends of Marcy are friends of mine, how can I help you?“
“I just thought I’d like to meet the princess Marcy talks about to be honest. And Sunset is my name. Sunset Shimmer.”
When Sunset came to the library to do a little research for the time she had missed when she was in the human world, she figured she could get a little alone time. But it seems the world had different plans for her since she was now sitting face to face with… was that… a Kirin?
Her gaze went up for only a moment when she spotted her, staring at her. She saw the kirin give her an awkward looking smile, so she politely returned one back, and gazed at her book once more. But… she was curious. She had never seen a Kirin before and in the human world, they were passed off as myth. But now…
“Um… hi.” She said timidly.
Oh thank goodness! An invitation to speak!
“Hello!” Autumn Blaze almost threw down her index cards at the greeting. “I love your mane! Oh gosh! I have a cousin with almost those same colors. It’s like the sun’s fire at sunset! So gorgeous. Makes me want to paint a picture! Anyways, sorry I was staring. I do that sometimes when I see inspiring things. It’s quiet in here. Ahem, a little too quiet. How are you doing? I’m Autumn Blaze!”
“Oh…” Sunset was stumped as the volume in her voice caused her ears to fold back in surprise, glares present as she looked around the library at the ponies near her.
“Um, thank you Autumn.” She said quietly. “I’m Sunset Shimmer.” She said, trying to keep her voice low. “And yeah, it is a little quiet because it’s a library, after all.” She said with a giggle.
Autumn Blaze drew plenty of stares as she inched her way into the gigantic Canterlot City Library. Most of the ponies there had never seen a kirin before. Those who had had heard the stories of their ability to shift into dangerous creatures with fiery tempers. The chatty creature was unusually quiet as she glided on the heels of her hooves across the library floor in search of what she needed. But the silence was deafening and the judging stares were almost more than she could take.
She collected the books she needed and sat across from a yellow mare with a red and golden mane. She mostly chose her because she thought she looked looked lonely and like she could use someone to sit with her. But also because there was a vibe to her that Autumn Blaze didn’t feel often with ponies. It was very…kirin-ish.
She sat across from the mare and stared for a while before offering an awkward smile and opening her first book and pulling out some flashcards to start taking notes.
But the silence was driving her crazy.
If only someone would say SOMETHING!

(*unholy screeching*) Why
Like I love all of you but I just can’t believe 150 of you actually stick around for my nonsense
Shimmer’s head pounded in her skull as she sat alone at the bar near the outskirts of the city she was in. She hadn’t bothered to learn the name of it because she knew she probably wouldn’t be staying much longer then a couple of days, unless something interesting came up, but even then, that was rare for her.
She took a swig of her drink, and sighed as she felt the Jack burn her throat. It was a good burn, and she always enjoyed it. She heard the jingle of the door chime open as the song on the jukebox changed. She didn’t bother looking to see who walked in. Didn’t matter at this point. She was the only one at in bar minus the bartender, so a little company might be welcome.
Dominator had hoped to make some kind of spectical of the scene, but as she walks in.. there’s just about no one around. You can’t start a bar fight with one other person and the bartender! There was no fun in that. Yet at the same time, she didn’t feel like going through the trouble of finding another bar. So, may as well make whatever time she was going to spend here count.
She didn’t care about the other person at the counter. In fact, she made sure she was at least a bar stool away. Them thinking she was here to make friends or something was the last thing Dominator wanted.
Shimmer slammed down her shot as she told the bartender, “Another.” One final drag on her cigarette, and out it went into emthe ashtray. She rarely smoked, but she felt she needed the extra buzz tonight for some reason. Like something interesting was supposed to happen.
She was definitely starting to think something was bound to happen when she saw that woman walk up to the bar: tall, lean, beautiful, and with one rockin’ hairstyle. That was… she had to say something.
“Badass hairstyle.” She said. “I haven’t seen a lot of people around her rock a mohawk like that. It definitely suits ya.”
