It was in that moment Susnet was thankful that she took those years of driving lessons, and while she did have a very strong preference for anything with two wheels, she still took a great amount of pride in her driving abilities. The courses and summers spent at a local racetrack behind the wheel of whatever she felt like renting for the day would always cost her a pretty penny, but she could afford it. But then again, driving that one hypercar almost broke her. But in the end, she decided it was worth it.
Sunset gently closed the door behind the mink with a small smile as she climbed into the driver’s seat, idly running her fingertips gently along the inside. The dash, the radio, the steering wheel, the gearshift knob…
Finally, she let out a soft sigh and started the car, giving a slight glance over at Minerva before effortlessly backing out and headed out into town.
Cars were an odd delight for the mink. She liked the idea of owning something that was, above all, elegant. Driving itself was more a task but the cars she owned reflected her modest desire for elegance. They were never garish, never painted a bright pink or custom-designed to be something special. She picked and drove cars that were stylish in look, elegant and smooth in motion and were comfortable yet practical.
This car was her regular one, a BMW that was smooth for urban living. It was just a good car in her eyes. Letting another drive it was an odd feeling but she had faith this women could handle it. Putting her seatbelt on, the famous mink sat back and glanced out of her window, just waiting for the movement to begin. Minerva didn’t rush the other and nor intended too.
But she made no conversation, not seeking to converse with the women driving her car.
The drive to the spa was a quiet one, Sunset not trying to make small talk with her occupant. All she would do is steal the occasional glance at Minerva, and constantly checking her rearview mirror. In her time in security, she had dealt with more then her fair share of crazy people.
The car was definitely a nice one though. Not the best she had ever driven, but it was still a smooth drive as she made her way to the spa. Definitely good for a fast getaway of she needed one.
After a few silent minutes, Sunset finally found the spa thanks to a little help from the GPS. Pulling in and shutting off the car, she moved to open the door for the mink, her mind and eyes going to work once more, looking over every window and door on the front of the building, as well as eyeing the rooftops and alleyways near the building and across the street.
