Sunset: “Well, even though horns tried to kill me when we first met, I gotta say she’s grown on me. Ya know, despite being a from a planet who’s leaders wanna wipe us all out.“
Sunset: “Sol? Oh, she’s pretty awesome! I like that level of sass she always seems to give out and she’s a really good friend. I need to spend more time with her…”
[ Muse may or may not admit feelings for yours. If feelings are admitted. Your muse DOES NOT have to return feelings for mine. This is for fun. So have fun! ]
Natsuki walked up to Sunset in a huff. They never got to talk much, but seeing how much she hung around Yuri made the pink-haired girl really feel like she didn’t take the club seriously at all.
“You’re always reading her poems first. Not.. that I care whose poems you read. But you could at least pay a little more attention to the other club members. We’re supposed to share our poems with everybody.”
She huffed and took a little wrinkled sheet of paper out.
Sunset stopped in her tracks as she made her way to her locker, turning around to face the girl in from of her with a small, nervous smile. “Um… Nat… Natsuki, right?” She asked cautiously. “Look, I’m sorry if I ever made you feel that way. And you’re right. I do spend a lot of time with Yuri. But there also other members, so… I’ll start making an appoint to socialize with them more. ” She said with a smile as she took the paper and opened it.
From everything Autumn knew about sleep and people, that was bad. Very bad. Sunset was probably hallucinating at this point.
“Sunset, we’ve got to get you to sleep lickety-split then. Why don’t you lie down and I’ll make you some hot cocoa?”
“NO!” She shouted. “Its still there! Mocking me!”
She snarled at the open air, blurting out “It’s the Russians, I tell you! They did something! And they… they sent the PENGUIN!!”
“Sunset, I don’t know how to break this to you, but that penguin isn’t going to leave you alone until you get some proper sleep. The Russians too. The longer you’re awake, the more they win. Does that make sense?”
“NO! Have to… Have to stay awake… HAVE TO STAY AWAKE!” She cried. “If I close my eyes… it SEES ME! Can’t fall asleep! DON’T WANT TO!”

“Sunset, we’ve got to get you to sleep lickety-split then. Why don’t you lie down and I’ll make you some hot cocoa?”
“No… no druggies…. me-me-mega-toenail give me night terrors…” she slurred. All of a sudden, she looked behind her and ran at the “penguin”, letting out a primal scream of rage. “DIE YOU BLACK AND WHITE, FLIGHTLESS, OVERGROWN SCUMBAG!”
“Whoa! Sunset!”
Autumn felt her own heart rate speed. She clenched her teeth and fist as she saw the other woman go from laid back to kill-mode in five seconds flat. She wanted to run from the scene seeing Sunset like this. But it felt cowardly and wrong leaving a friend in such a bad state of mind.
“Oh, I think you got him!” she told her. “He won’t be coming back now. Dang!”
She played along.
“Okay. So how about some herbal tea?” she offered. “And listening to some soft music with nature sounds? I can read to you.”
“NO!” She shouted. “Its still there! Mocking me!”
She snarled at the open air, blurting out “It’s the Russians, I tell you! They did something! And they… they sent the PENGUIN!!”
That bring new emotion to the world and even more to express
A thousand gratitudes would never say enough And a thousand apologies would never express the regret
So the spirit sits and allows the ruby rivulets to surround her, along with the sunbeams shining through the cracks in the mirror and the curtains of the window
Thinking of her always
Bathing again.”
Sunset re-read the poem over and her again, unsure of how to respond. “Yuri… this… this is beautiful…” she said, her eyes seeming to grow misty.
