‘Oh, sweet Celestia, why today of all days?’ Sunset thought to herself as she ran her hands down her face.
“Look, I know what this looks like and how this is gonna sound, but I’ve had a really bad few weeks so far, and since tonight was no exception I really don’t like like sugarcoating it.” She shot a stern gaze at her double as she picked up her guitar, securing it to her back with the backpack like straps that were on the case. She popped her neck once with a slight pained hiss before continuing.
“Yes. My name is Sunset Shimmer. I was born in Canterlot, Equestria in a dimension where I am a small yellow unicorn. I came here through an interdimensional portal which is located in the statue of Canterlot High School. And don’t ask if it works or if you can go through, because it’s currently shut down, so you can’t.”
As Sunset saw her double pick up the guitar and secure it, she steeled herself to an explanation she wasn’t going to like. And like clockwork, it came to be. She went silent for the next few seconds; after which she shook her head, but spoke in a more amiable tone.
“You know exactly how that sounds, so I’m not gonna say anything. What I can say is that if you’re still going with a story as ludicrous as this… You’re not actually trying to fool me. If you were, you would have been stupid: and I can’t see you’re not.“
Was that egotistical to say when she looked just like Sunset herself? She didn’t think much of it. Instead, she sighed and rubbed her temple, shaking her head again in disbelief.
“It’s crazy, you– you just reacted like I did last week after the car crashed and I got an earful from my boss the whole week while having to pay it off. Now, I’m not saying I believe you… But so long as you’re not trying to pull the rug on me, I can play along until I get to the bottom of this.“
She now smiled- or tried to. It was stiff, unlike the condescending smile from earlier. Almost seemed like she was not used to doing it. Deciding she was better off trying to get info off of the streets, Sunset decided to suggest something.
“Well, sucks that we’re both having bad weeks. Wanna grab a drink or something and vent? We’ll make everyone think they’re drunk and seeing double if we show up- Ah, wait, do we even happen to have the same age? You a minor?“
“I’m legal.” Sunset said as she adjusted her guitar case on her back once more. “Trust me, if I wasn’t then I wouldn’t have been in that bar.” She said with a wryly grin. “Took some time to get some legit looking paperwork though. And a lot of money, but thankfully I have both. Getting my M-Class license though, that was a hassle I don’t wanna talk about again.” She said with a sigh.
She gave her counterpart another one over before saying “I know a bar over on Stewart Street. I’m in tight with the owner, so we’ll be covered on drinks for the night. Besides, I know you’ve got some questions like I do.”
She stared off in the distance for a moment before beginning to walk down the street, calling out to her double, “You know, it’s funny. I honestly thought you were dead. I looked everywhere online for you and came up with nothing.”
If you are an RP Partner of mine please kindly follow the link above to Demencia’s shiny new blog! We’re moving to get a fresh start. Will love to see you there and try to follow you all!
Alright folks. The move over to new blog can begin. I apologize for the fact that the Dazzlings and the Princesses are moving blogs in the same day. I know it must be annoying. I promise it’s the last blog move today. If I move another I won’t post the link until tomorrow. I happen to be working fast on these things.
Please do NOT follow if you are a Personal/Po.rn blog/Cl.op blog/or non-literary rp blog. Also do not follow if you are very, very young and shouldn’t be reading things that are rated R. This is a private/selective blog.
It is also a Sideblog. It follows back through Mylittlecuriosityrp, where Celestia, Luna and Cadance can also be found.
Best wishes, everyone. It’s been a blast. Thanks for wanting to follow my blog in the first place. But I’m going to try a more selective, private place from now on. My queue will publish a few more pictures over the next few days then my blog will be Inactive and an Archive.
We as roleplayers tend to have lots and lots of pages, and these pages relay all the important information one needs to know as our roleplaying parters. However, mobile users might not be able to navigate to these pages at all.
They can send an ask for the link or make a guess at what the URL is for the page or simply wait until they’re on a desktop, but as owner of the blog, there’s actually a way to make these links visible from the get go.
By default, a mobile theme shows three links: ask (if open), submit (if open), and archive. To use my blog as an example:
If one visits my blog on a desktop, they’ll see I have eight additional pages or tags that I link to. However, in the screenshot above, they don’t appear! To make them available on mobile, I have to go to the theme customization options, and navigate to a page I want to make visible on mobile.
Let’s go to my “stats” page, the basic information on my character.
In the upper right-hand corner of the pane, there’s a switch labeled “Show link to this page” that’s currently in the off position. I want to click that so that it’s blue and on.
Doing this will create a new text field, which the browser will automatically place my cursor in. That text field is the title that will appear for the link on mobile. It automatically replicates the text field below, as you can see they’re both titled “File: Tam, Dr. Simon”, but you can change it if you want it to appear differently on mobile. This is especially helpful if your page doesn’t have a title for whatever reason and so there’s nothing to click for a link.
Save that, and now there’s a link to the page on my blog’s mobile theme!
The order that the pages are listed in the customize pane are the order the links will appear on the mobile theme.
To change the order, simply grab the little handle (the group of dots at the left side of the page URLs in the pane), and drag and drop them into the desired order.
And that’s all there is about making pages more mobile friendly. Now mobile users can immediately read your pages without playing a guessing game in the URL bar or asking you for a link.
“Greetings my servants, My name is Queen Bowsette, I’ve decided to let you all come and talk and interact with me. Don’t worry, I’m much stronger then i look~”
Shimmer gave a soft sniff as she looked up at Midnight with sad eyes. She gently took a hold of Midnight’s hand in her own and pulled the Queen into a hug, saying “I wanna try… one last time. I just want her back…”
