She was surprised that Shimmer of all people was asking her this, but at least enough time had passed that she wasn’t completely shut down now.
“Y.. y… ye.. yeah, I-I-I’m… I’m okay…”
… Her phone screen was shattered. The thing she seemed to hold closest to her was broken. Something was definitely up.
“This… This isn’t about what I did, was it?” She asked. “Because I’m… I’m a little sorry. I’m not apologizing fully because you still threatened Armadia. But I am sorry for scaring you that much.”
“I thought by surprise you meant a n-new book or something…!” Blushing all the more, Yuri grunted a little as she continued trying to move her hands in a futile struggle and ended up falling onto her back.
“At least – at least these are soft…” She muttered, continuing to squirm. “A-ah, how embarrassing…!”
“I honestly missed this.~” Sunset said, sitting on Yuri’s lap, facing her. She smiled as she wrapped her arms around her and leaned in to place a soft kiss on Yuri’s lips.
Yuri didn’t know how it had come to this. Sunset had invited her over for some reading time and a “surprise”, so of course, the girl was eager to come over.
But as the violet-haired woman sat there, book on the floor and hands at her sides, she suddenly felt the other take hold of them and felt something soft click around both of her wrists shortly after. Yuri’s eyes immediately widened and she tried to move her hands from her back – to no avail. It seemed she had been trapped by what she could only assume were fuzzy handcuffs, but she couldn’t look back to see them.
“S.. Sunset, what’s this? I can’t- ngh-!”
“I know baby… This was the surprise.” Sunset said, slowly trailing a hand along Yuri’s body. “I hope you don’t mind, but we haven’t done anything fun in a while and… Well, I was hoping this could spice things up.~”
