“He just wanted to help- …” Savanna looked over at her destroyed phone, and the glass scattered about on the ground. “… I-It’s.. it’s gone anyway. Everything I-I had so much fun with is gone…”

Her face grew red again as she began to sob once more, and she furiously ran over, kicking the useless device away. “You prick!”

“Yeah, it is. But look at it this way, if you still had that musty old phone, then that means I couldn’t give you this.” Shimmer said. Reaching behind her back, she pulled out what looked like an old, small handheld camcorder. “I haven’t had to use this thing since I came to this world, and to be honest it, brings back a lot of bad memories. But at least if I give it to you, I know it’ll be taken care of.”

Shimmer chuckled a bit as she said, “Yeah, it is.”

“H-He was supporting me! He just.. got mad when I didn’t take him with me ‘cause he wanted to make sure I was safe…” She scratched the back of her head. “B-But I was really careful. It’s not like I just go running out there as fast as I can a-and making a lot of, uh, noise.. I think I scared him, and he got mad at me.”

“Ooooooooh, now that sounds like a pretty fun time.~” Shimmer said with a grin, leaning closer to Demencia. “So who’d be the captain and who’d be the “first mate”? If you know what I mean.~“ Shimmer said seductively.

“I’m usually first mate, devil-lady,” she told her honestly. “But I’ve been known to command a ship or two in my time as well, hehe.” she laughed.

Well, she sure was pretty. And she looked like the demon ladies from the old grimmoires of the dark ages, something Demencia found appealing. So she didn’t hesitate much to move forward and be at eye-level with the she-demon.

“Madam,” she gave a silly, faux british accent and gave the demon lady both her hands so that they could dance to the song on the radio. 

“I gotta say, you are beautiful.” Shimmer said as she slowly moved with woman to music. “Plus, I love your hair. It’s definitely one of the more unique looks I’ve ever seen.” She said with a smile.

“Thanks!” Demencia blurted, breaking the quiet air of the dance. But, heck. She was excited to meet someone so dangerous-looking and so sexy and into her. “Your hair is like fire. I love it. Can I touch it?” she asked excitedly.

She knew just enough about manners that grabbing hair could get you slapped or smacked. At least from experience. So she asked first. 

Shimmer giggled softly as she said, “Sure. You know, you’re the first person to ever say it looks like fire.” She said with a small grin.
