No, she is not. It so pisses me off when people call her the “Bad Guy”! Bad yes, but she is not a guy, and she knows it. She is a strong independent woman and calling her a “ Bad Guy” is an insult to all female villains everywhere!
In the musical number “I’m the Bad Guy” from the Season 2 episode “My Fair Hatey,” Lord Dominator intentionaly uses the willful declaration that she is the “bad guy” to specifically assert independence from reductive feminine social roles that other characters have attempted to assign to her.
It is such a resonant positive feminist theme that this musical number is far and away the most popular single element of the entire series, even in spite of the fact that she’s basically singing about what a sociopath she is.
