Instead of speaking, Sunset instead sat on her haunches, and seemed to close her eyes in concentration.
Raising her hoofs, a small yellow light began to appear, and a small sheen of sweat seemed to form on Sunset’s brow. Suddenly, she moved her hooves in a spiraling motion, and… symbols began to appear, swirling in a rapid motion all around her.
Celestia’s wings opened instinctively as she went on alert but she remained sitting and watching Sunset, horn softly aglow in case something were to go wrong. She stayed silent so she would not break the unicorn’s concentration.
The unicorn let out a short gasp as her light suddenly gave out, and she dropped her hooves in exhaustion. “That was so much easier with hands…” She said with a pant. And if Celestia had taken notice, Sunset’s horn never once lit up.
“I know I had once said that the human world doesn’t have magic, but… I was wrong, Mom. They do. And it’s beautiful…”
