“When.. when I first heard tale of the so called "Men in Black”… I laughed. Hard. I thought the idea of it was absolutely insane. I mean, come on! A group of men in black suits who supposedly hunt down criminal aliens and stuff? It just didn’t make sense!“ She said with a short laugh before trailing off. "But…”
“It was a Sunday morning.
It had been about four days after that night at the Fall Formal. I was just getting on my feet again, and had gotten a cup coffee from a little place I had started going to. At the time, I was running low on cash, so the trip across the portal hadn’t been all about the crown. I had gotten a few bits from my personal vault back in Canterlot because, as it turned out, the price of gold here was worth a lot more then back in Equestria. So, I cashed in what I had, made a little bank and lived off that. For a while.
I ended up spending almost all of it then in those few days. Got myself a good downpayment for an apartment, furniture, essential stuff, so at the time, me getting the coffee that day was a treat.
I had just sat down, and it was about… ten. We didn’t have school for a few days after due to… yeah… so I figured I could use a break. I took a sip and looked out the window… when I saw it.
The car was a black 1984 Cadillac Eldorado. I didn’t think much of it, since… well, it was just a car. I turned away for a split second to take a sip and… he was there. He was tall. Taller then most people I’ve seen. He was white. Like… a pure, stark white. He didn’t have any hair either. When I looked at him, I just… I got this chill. Like… like he wanted to hurt me. And the look that he gave me…"
She took a deep shuddering breath before continuing.
"He never spoke a word. But I heard this… voice in my head. I’ll never forget it. It sounded rough and gravelly, like the voice he was gargling rocks. It said… "Don’t let that happen again. Ever.” After that, I felt this… pain in my head. I winced and closed my eyes for a second, and when I looked back up, the man was gone.
To this day, I still don’t know what that was. But the MIB or not, every day I worry about something like that happening… especially withthe portal. But, I hope that doesn’t happen. And if it does, I hope all I’ll need to do is shoot Twilight a message and ask her to shut the portal down. Just because I don’t go to CHS anymore, doesn’t mean won’t keep an eye on it. I have my eyes there.
But it’s weird. Just the other day, I saw someone near it. Looked like a girl, but I couldn’t tell since she had her hood up. I might have to take a trip back there eventually just to make sure everything is ok withthe portal. I’ll have to let Twilight know as well.“
