Sunset seemed to stop in her tracks for a moment, before looking back to her counterpart almost sadly. “Yeah… yeah, she is for the most part. But…”

She took a deep breath before continuing. “We’ve… had a bit of a falling out lately. There’s a lot I think you should know. But that’ll come when we get there, I promise.”

“…”

The sadness would seem to be borderline contagious, because this Sunset mellowed a tad upon hearing it. She sighed.

“… Figures. Guess none of us caught a break there, though I’m sure it’s different for you and me. … Damn, if this keeps happening, I’m gonna have to start believing you.“

“… Whatever. Glad she’s OK.”

“…”

“Alright. Let’s get going.“

Shaking her head, she’d try and tug on the other Sunset to keep moving. Though since she didn’t know the way, she wouldn’t be able to lead.

Eventually, the two came upon a relatively nice looking bar with a bright red neon sign reading “The Ave.” on it. Stepping inside, the two were greeted with low playing rock music, various men and women playing pool, darts, or just sitting in booths and eating.

Sunset made her way to a spot in the corner before setting down her guitar and making her way to the bar. Once there she said a few thing, pointed at her double, and gave a quick nod. The bartender seemed to smile as she got to work making a pair of drinks.

Stepping into a booth now, she waved her double over saying, “The first round is on me. I figured since we’re the same in some way, we might enjoy the same alcohol. Whiskey neat with a ounce of cherry rum, right?”
