Cadance was visiting Canterlot and passed Celestia’s royal library when she saw a familiar mane. She did a double-take. “Sunset Shimmer?” she asked. She had of course been around, training to be a princess while Sunset was Celestia’s student. So she knew who she was. She had not dreamed she’d see her back like this. That was…walking freely and without guards around her. Then again, Celestia always had been forgiving. “When did you get back?” Caddy asked. {picking up from our Tia-Sunny game}

Sunset looked over her shoulder from the book she was reading when she heard her name get called. But unfortunately for her, it was… shit.

She wasn’t ready to see Cadance just yet. After all, she was part of the reason for Sunset’s attitude when she was filly. Seeing a unicorn become an alicorn like Cadence sent a wave of jealousy in her at the time, and when she saw herself as a princess in the mirror… well, she didn’t like to think about that.

Now, here she was again. “P-Princess Cadance!” She said. Her ears folded back as she scrambled down to her hooves in a bow.
