Shimmer watches the video in ernest, her face devoid of emotion in the beginning, but slowly it turned to curiosity, then shock, and then… anger. She sucked in deep breath through her nose before turning away from Savannah to exhale it out, hot steam coming out of her nose.
She turned back to Savannah, a serious expression on her face. “Sav,” she said, “I want you to be completely honest with me ok? Why would say that you care about me the way you just did?”
“… C-Cause.. c-cause …” She was having trouble saying anything after reliving what happened in the video, and had to take deep breaths to continue. Shimmer looked very angry and she was sure she was about to lose another friend. “I-I-I just.. wanted.. to make sure.. y-you knew…”
“Is it because you’d think I’d leave you if I found out you only like me because I’m a demon?” Shimmer said with a raised brow. She didn’t sound angry when she said that, just… curious.
