Shimmer gave a sniffle as she looked up at Nero. “I wanna see her.” She said sternly.

“… Shimmer, even if they didn’t tell me how it happened, they pretty much confirmed that she’s … gone.” Nero swallowed sadly. “I wasn’t even there. I couldn’t… why didn’t she tell me she was going out…?”

“I don’t care!” She snapped, shooting up from Nero’s lap. “They’re going to let me see her and they’re going to tell me what happened or Luna help nothing is gonna stop me from getting some answers about my sister!”
