“I just figured I’d drop by for a visit.” Shimmer said, flashing her teeth. “Buuuuut, we might wanna go somewhere less hot. I would’ve been here sooner, but I got a little lost.” She said sheepishly.
“And… you just so happened to drop by at the break of dawn? Do you wish to see me crawling?” Lillian didn’t mean to sound so upset all of a sudden, but she figured someone like Shimmer ought to know about the never-ending rivalry between vampires and sunlight.
“Come in, come in! Heaven knows I’m not going out there unless I like walking like a cripple…”
“Hey now, I said I’m sorry…” Shimmer said with a slight pout as she entered. “Like I said, I tried to shoot for night but I got lost… besides, if I wanted to see you crawling, I’d want it to be in very different circumstance.” She quipped, flashing a small grin.
“Are you doing well? Other then me… waking you up…”
