“Okay, I’m not her dad. But who are you but some run-of-the-mill demon with a sadistic streak?” Nero scoffed back. “I’m related to the guy she practically worships.”
“And you use that to keep her wrapped around her thumb!” She snarled. “Besides, do you really care about her? Are you the one who’s trying to teach her how to protect herself? Do you encourage her to live her dream of being a demon documenter or do you always tell her no instead if offering to go with her to protect her? Because that’s what I do! And she loves it! I don’t put her down and call her "not normal” and her dreams “stupid!”
