“Whoa! Turn your head and do it from behind!” Shimmer said. Before their altitude got to low, Shimmer called out, “Brace yourself!” Before extending her wing open, causing a suddenly lurch. Soon, Shimmer had gone into a smooth glide, giving her wings the occasional flap. “You ok squirt?!” She called out over the wind.
“Oh gosh.. oh.. gosh..” Savanna felt dizzy at this point, her head reeling away from Shimmer’s neck as she nearly let go with her arms. “Is.. is, uh.. this what dying feels like..? Aaah… can we.. can we take a.. urk–”
She forced herself to turn, and felt herself lose the breakfast she ate that morning. “GAAAH…!”
Shimmer winced slightly as she heard the poor girl vomit. ‘Ok, time for a touchdown…’
Seeing a small clearing in the forest, she took a smooth dive in and aimed at the ground, running soflty as she hit the grass. Slowing to a jog, and finally a walk, she squatted down on her knees so that Savannah could get off. “Uh… Sorry about that Sav…”
