“See, now that’s the spirit!” Shimmer said excitedly. But then her voice dropped low as she said, “But just remember kid, just because it’s easy, doesn’t mean it isn’t dangerous. Ok?”

“I already said I know it’s dangerous!” Savanna lamented, crossing her arms together. “But people do dangerous things, uh, all the time! And besides – it would be disrespectful to the demons for me to just treat them like I can run around, uh, acting like I’m not their prey.”

“As long as you understand kid.” Shimmer said patting her head. “You, uh… You like ice cream?”
