“Whoa! Easy!” Shimmer said, pulling the mirror back. “Just… Focus on my hair, ok?”

Armadia was seething at this point, but eventually she began to reason with herself. As much as she hated admitting this.. there were other creatures of her kind that were stronger and had already mastered this ability. They had probably gone through the same thing when they first became so strong.

“Okay.” She whispered, groaning to herself.

“Hey, it’s ok.” Shimmer said, pulling Armadia in for a light kiss. “You might not be able to get it at first, but I know you can do this. Just take a deep breath, in…” She said, breathing in deeply. “And out.” She said, exhaling.
