Sunset sniffed quietly to herself in front of the bathroom sink. God, she told herself she wouldn’t do this here. Not at her new school. She was just getting over all her old drama too, damn it. But yet, when she saw April happy and smiling with her two other friends… Something inside broke.

Now here she was, reminiscing on bad times. She roughly rubbed her eyes, but jumped up in fright as she heard the bathroom door open, and saw April walking in. “Oh, uhh…” She said, quickly wiping her nose with her jacket sleeve. “H-hey, April! What’s, uhh, what’s up?”
