So, who was it that actually did all this? I mean, they had to have been rather calculated if they wanted to pin this whole thing on you and ruin everything that you worked to get.
“I… I might’ve promised them something in return for the info. But they told me. It was Applebloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. And… It actually makes sense.” Sunset said glumly.
Twilight just cocked her head to the side.
Wha…? Those three were behind it…? I… I would’ve never thought they would do such a thing. And it does make sense?
Twilight thought for a moment and she then realized why.

Celestia just nods her head, having the same idea.
…Jealously. They were likely jealous over the fact that their sisters were hanging around Sunset all the time and not with them as much, I take it? I can’t believe the fact that three small girls would go to such lengths to destroy what you built with your friends all because they simply couldn’t just explain to their older sisters how they were feeling…
“I can’t either… I just…. I’m glad you found me… I don’t know what I would’ve done if you hadn’t.” Sunset said, moving to hug Celestia again. “How did you find me, Mom?”
Twilight’s ears perked up at the mention of Celestia being referred to as ‘Mom’. Celestia just smiled gently, looking down at her.
Well, considering how much Equestrian magic spread within that world, it was rather easy for me to pick up your essence there. When Twilight mentioned how the magic returned to you after stopping the Sirens, that would remain in you until a trigger was needed to use it.
Even then, it would stay active within, and considering how long you were my student, it wasn’t hard to sense your magical presence, regardless of how far away you were. I just honed in on where you were and that is how I found you.~
She just nuzzles Sunset softly, while Twilight couldn’t help but give a gentle smile as well, as she came over, placing her hoof on Sunset’s.
What matters is that you are alright Sunset. And you don’t have to feel alone anymore. You have us now: me, Celestia… even my friends would be there for you.
Twilight goes and hugs her, while Celestia just chuckles gently and hugs both her former students.
“Thank you… thank you both!” Sunset said, becoming misty eyed again. “I love both of you so much!” Sunset cried as she hugged herself tighter to her mother and friend.
