Sunset held Yuri, as she rested her chin on the top of her head, and gently moved a hand up to stroke her beautiful purple hair.
“Streetlamp’s out; it’s getting cold, I told you I don’t want your coat. I’m better off in your arms, I can’t believe we went so far that night, Underneath the burning stars, we saw light.”
Though they were dancing, this was… a rather dreamy instance, wasn’t it? The way that Yuri’s hair was being gently petted by her dear friend – it reminded her of childhood, and having her hair played with and forehead lightly tickled until she fell asleep.
Her hands were no longer on Sunset’s sides, as she had chosen instead to just completely wrap her arms around the other. It caused her to wince for a moment (for reasons she would never dare tell the other), but she was soon back to her relaxed state.
Sunset blushed lightly as she felt Yuri wrap her arms around her, and pressed her closer as she continued. “It’s getting late, your sisters call, and we pretend our phones are off. Yeah, I can’t stop the moving clock, I never wanted us to part that night.. dancing on your father’s car, we were so high…”
