“I’m magic.” Sunset said casually. “I can use the shadows to get in and out of places undetected.” She said, shooting a sly grin at the girl. “And I mean it! These are amazing!”
“Pffft, magic…” Natsuki rolled her eyes. “Anyway, since you’re new to the club and everything, I was thinking we could read manga together.”
“– Actually,” Yuri piped up, only to be interrupted.
“No! She’s reading with me. She likes magic and stuff, and there are lots of manga about magic. So there. Just ‘cause you brought her to the club doesn’t mean you get to hog her up for yourself.”
“… Hog her up? I-I’ve only been with her for one day!”
“And?” Natsuki scoffed. “Don’t you think the rest of us should spend time with her too?”
“C-Calm down, guys.” Monika said from behind her desk.
“Hey!” Sunset said, trying to get Natsuki’s attention. “I already told Yuri I’d be reading with her this week.” She said, throwing a hopefully subtle wink her way. “But if you want, I’ll read with you next week. Does that sound good?”
