Sunset sighed to herself as she browsed through the small little music store. She honestly wasn’t expecting to find one here, but she wasn’t one to complain. Gave her a chance to get some new CD’s for her humble little collection. Now what to get… She had most of Rise Against’s discography, and the same with Korn’s but she wasn’t feeling angsty enough for that… Ugh! This sucked.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a beautiful woman with striking blue hair browsing alone in one of the sections. Maybe she could get into something new? Didn’t hurt to ask anothers opinion. “Excuse me? I’m sorry to bother you, but… Well, I’m just trying to find something new. I was wondering if maybe I could ask you if you’ve found anything interesting.” Sunset said with a small smile.
Fingers glided through the the lines of CD’s with a mission to find something. Actually, that was a lie. Never before had the former queen of Mewni visited a store like this that sold round disk with music on them! It was pretty cool…and these things called headphones were the best type of magic that she’s seen in awhile.
Standing by herself, humming a random tune she made up just now she picked up a case and read the tittles on the back. “Hm. Bands now a days sure do have some of the oddest of names.” Hand rested gently on her chin until an unforrmilar voice caught the Dark Queens attention. “Oh, hello there!” Hands held the case firmly as she flashed the stranger a comfortable smile. “Haha. Well, my taste in music is pretty old, but I’ve found this little ditty to be quite entertaining.”
Turning back to face the rack of music. Fingers went back to scanning the list of music till she found the one she was looking for; It was a purple case cover with the words ‘Birthday massacre’ printed in such strange letters.
“Here. Give this a whirl, love.”
Sunset looked at the band name with an amused smirk on her face. “"Birthday Massacre”? Well I gotta give credit, I’ve never heard of these guys before.“ She said, flipping the case around to get a look at the track listing. ‘Shallow Grave’? Interesting name for a song. “Color me interested. How long have you know about these guys?”
