“Okay… It’s a long one…” She started with before going over this long story that seemed to cover everything from being kidnapped as a child, wreaking havoc in some country named Pallandia, ending up with her family, hating the whole royal life… something about fancy ballgowns that get in the way all the time, annoyingly determined suitors and tourists, running off with her grandfather and his world hopping store, the strange things shesaw there, the dimensional shifts that changed everything whenever they moved, the old man’s antics, and how she ended up being behind in Ponyville a few weeks before christmas, getting confused about Hearth’s warming, living in the old castle, hiding who she was for a few months before… getting caught napping in Twilight’s library and how that went, and so on and so forth… What was that about artifact hunting?
“And… during one of my study sessions I got hungry, so I decided to take a little jaunt through the portal and… here we are… ordering food because I’m an omnivore and incredibly nosy.”
“Emphasis on “nosy”, but I don’t blame you. That’s a hell of a tale…“ Sunset said. “And you aren’t gonna be doing any artifact hunting here in this world are you?”
“That really depends… I doubt any of gramp’s customers on the other side are going to try and break into Twilight’s castle just to use that mirror that only a select few know about… and if they show up over here, it’s due to other means.” Evening explained with a small nod.
“So… technically not unless you asked me or that happens.”
“What kind of other means?” Sunset asked.
“It’s quite a list… teleportation, portal spells, linking books, some sort of dimension hopping telephone booth…” Evening started rattling off the various items she recalled that could be used to get from one Equestria to another they had in stock at the time.
“Oh, jack in the box Jesus, if it’s not one thing it’s another…” She sighed in frustration as she let the woman’s words sink in before asking, “How many do you know, and should I be worried about any?”
