“Fine…” She grumbled softly as she tagged along and sort of hung around a short distance away… if only for the reason of giving the other girl some space.
Once she had her order, see looked at the clerk and said, “She’s paying,” before going and taking her seat at the booth.
At this point, Evie moved up front… made what seemed to be quite a long order and… after paying for the food and obtaining her receipt… slid into the seat across from Sunset. “If you haven’t guessed… I’m pretty hungry.”
Okay… so it was a partial lie since she wanted to treat her a bit… if she wanted it.
“I couldn’t tell.” Sunset said blandly. “Now, start talking.” She said before adding a “Please.”
