The last thing Sunset expected to see was something so… well equipped. “Wow…” she said in awe as she approached the turnstile. “This place looks aw- oof!” She let out a soft grunt as her abdomen hit the turnstile, feeling it not budge. She gripped it in her hands and gave it a hard tug, grunting slight.
Finally she gave up and with a grunt, she quickly gave a side jump over it and landed gracefully on her feet. “Hehe… sorry. Anyways, this place is awesome! How long have you four been down here?”
{~🔬 Donatello hides a subtle laugh behind his hand, but let her move on her own. A gentle smile crossing over his features as he waits for her to join him before moving toward his lab.
“Well, our lives honestly. Our Father kept us down here to keep us safe there were…beings that wanted to take us because of what we were…he didn’t want that so we just kind of…built our home down here.”
Donatello lifts his shoulders in a shrug, as if it’s no big deal. This place is home, it always has been and always will be.
Opening the door, he reveals a make shift lab that had all the tools of a real lab but held the look of a garage found at an auto shop. All kinds of half built trinkets and even full inventions. Notes, blueprints scattered around, books and different vials that held different chemicals.
“Sorry about the…chaos, I didn’t have time to really organize anything. My motion sensors went off and I wanted to check and see what it was. Normally it’s just a homeless person seeking shelter from the weather that wandered to close but never actually made it this far.” 🔬~}
Sunset ran her fingertips along the punching bag resting in a corner, made to look like a makeshift human. Taking a quick stance, her right fist shot out at the bag in a blur, a loud “CRACK!” echoing through the lair, almost sounding like a gunshot, the bag swinging violently back and forth. “Huh… seems sturdy enough…” Sunset said to herself, popping her knuckle.
“What, like the government?” She asked with a raised brow as she made her way into the lab.
When she entered, she almost lost her breath. “Wow…” she said in awe. “Donnie, this is awesome!” She gave a small jog over to where a giant tank looking thing sat at one end of the room. “Where did you get all this she asked, turning away from the vehicle and now looking at the various things strewn about.
