steven stared up at the girl with some fascination, blinking at her slightly before his lips pulled up into a smile, and he let out a sheepish laugh, rubbing the back of his neck. “ sorry! i’m steven — i just noticed your hair, it looks really cool! ” not the best first impression, to simply stare at a stranger, but.. her hair DID look good.
Sunset blinked at the young boy as she saw him admire her hair. “Hehe, well thank you. I get that sometimes. Most of the time though, a lot of people think it looks like ketchup and mustard. Or even worse…” She knelt down and motioned the boy to get a little closer before saying, “bacon.”
She giggled as said, “And ironically enough, I’ve never had bacon before.”
Shimmer growled as she cracked her knuckles. And here she thought today was gonna be a good day, but noooooo. Some asshole had to ruin it for her. Good thing she had enough money to pay for the window she put the guy through.
As she sat down and pounded on the bar for another drink, she could feel different pairs of eyes glaring at her. Well, she couldn’t have that. “What the fuck are you assholes staring at?! Anyone else wanna end up like that guy?!” She said, pointing at the now broken front window.
No one responded as she turned around and slugged her drink. She briefly heard the door open but didn’t bother to see who it was. “God, this place is boring! Why can’t something fun ever happen?!”
