From everything Autumn knew about sleep and people, that was bad. Very bad. Sunset was probably hallucinating at this point.
“Sunset, we’ve got to get you to sleep lickety-split then. Why don’t you lie down and I’ll make you some hot cocoa?”
“At this point, I don’t even care. I just gotta find a way to get that giant penguin lookin thing away from me…” Sunset said, seeming to squint her eyes at something in the distance.
“Oh… lookie what we got here!” She said, sound almost like she was drunk. “Tha’ silly penguin is back again… is too damn hot for a penguin to be just… walkin’ around here! I gotta send ‘em back to the south pole!”
