As counterproductive as it seemed, Metal music always had a way of calming Sunset down. Except for today. Today was a rare occasion where it had just made her that much more angry. So she figured she go to the gym and try to burn off and much of it as she could.

Entering the gym now, she soon saw that the last couple of people who were were still in there were now leaving, which left the gym pretty much empty for the moment. Except for the sight of steam coming from the sauna which let Sunset know she wasn’t fully alone, she was glad. She really didn’t feel like dealing with people today.

Stripping down to her birthday suit, she wrapped a towel around herself and entered the women’s sauna… and froze. Ditzy was in there.

Shit.

All of a sudden, memories flashed through her mind of all the times she said any mean comment, every horrible rumor, and every hurtful thing she had ever done to her hit her like a ton of bricks. The only thing that seemed to snap her out of it was the slamming of the door behind her. She gave the meekest of smile and said in a voice so low it was almost a whisper, “H..Hi, Ditzy…”

This…This was nice, really nice. She felt almost all of her problems melt away. Plans for doing this again were definitely going to be made after she got home.

It was really quiet so it was a bit easy to doze off. She wasn’t really bothered with the sounds of the door opening and closing though, it was a public sauna after all.

However, her eyes fluttered opened at the sound of a voice greeting her. It was…vaguely familiar but she couldn’t exactly remember who it was. Opening her eyes, her body instantly became tensed at the person before her.

“Sunset Shimmer?” She responded with a soft gasp. “O-Oh! Erm..Hi..it’s nice to see you..” It was…uncomfortable to say the least…This girl was so mean to her in high school..but the least she heard, Sunset turned over a new leaf…and Ditzy wasn’t one to hold a grudge so she would try to be polite to her.

Sunset gave a nervous little rub on the back of her head as she sat down a ways away from Dizty. Gosh, this was awkward. “It’s… it’s nice to see you too…” She said, gripping her knee as she tried to avoid eye contact with the woman.

“It’s… been a while.” She said, trying to break the air with a little small talk, loosing up her towel slightly, which suddenly felt as if it was strangling her. “How… how have you been?”
