{Aria to Sunset} “Oh hey. If it isn’t that one chick. What’s her name again?” Aria rubbed her fingers together in thought. “Sunrise? Is that it.” She circled the other woman, shark-like. One might even hear the Jaws Theme playing the way she eyed Sunset like meat now that she had her alone. “Where’s your harem, Sunny? Anyone around to get your back?” Her hand traced where her gem used to be. {{hope this is ok lol}}

Sunset looked up from her book, “Astronomia Nova" to glance at the voice speaking to her. She took notice of the former siren circling her, and she rolled her, sighing to herself and flipping the page.

“Aria, was it?” She said dully. “What do you want?”

Sunset let out a groan as spell hit her, finally dropping to her knees. She fingertips seemed to sharpen into claws as she gripped her head, groaning in agony. She felt… pain. It took over her, swimming through her core. She wanted to hurt herself.

As she reached out with a claw, aiming to slit her own wrist, a voice in her head, stopped her. ‘Let. Me. Out.’ It said. But Sunset couldn’t verbally respond. She couldn’t tell her yes. But it didn’t seem like the voice cared.

With a scream of rage, Sunset’s eyes blacked, and her skin took on a blood red hue. Suddenly, a large column of fire erupted from where she stood, shattered every window around the two girls. The smoke hadn’t even cleared hardly when a new, red skinned woman rushed at the siren with an intense speed, snarling, her teeth baring in a rage as a fist cloaked in black fire aimed directly at Aria.

The hologram of the siren had finished her song. But remained to see her handiwork. And when she beheld that instead of killing Sunset she had drawn out what looked like a demon, her massive jaw dropped. The demonic fist collided with the socket where Aria’s gem used to be embedded in her flesh and the siren flew backwards.

But possessing flight helped the creature massively. She became more substantial while the human form on the ground became more opaque, frozen in shock. The two forms had one goal now: survival.

Aria’s siren form twisted around in the air and let out a defensive blast of energy from her voice at the demon.

Meanwhile, news of the fight had spread through the town and police officers and fire trucks had barred off the scene. Among the crowd a blue-haired woman was pushing past people. Sonata struggled to get to the scene.

“You have to let me through,” she explained to the officers, “I can stop it!”

The new begin gave a grin as it saw the blast coming at her.

Taking off in a red blur, she lunged, not at the siren form, but at the siren herself, fist clenched and aimed straight at her throat. “Hey Aria!” She said, speaking for the first time. Her voice sounded lower then Sunset’s more feminine but still slightly gravily. “Choke on THIS!”

She never once took notice of her surroundings. All this new being cared about was beating Aria into the ground.

{Aria to Sunset} “Oh hey. If it isn’t that one chick. What’s her name again?” Aria rubbed her fingers together in thought. “Sunrise? Is that it.” She circled the other woman, shark-like. “Aria, was it?” She said dully. “What do you want?”

Thankfully, Sunset wasn’t most people. She had only heard tales about the infamous Siren Shriek. It was stated that without magical protection or proper hearing protection, the damage from the shriek could cause someone to go deaf.

Sunset groaned aloud as the blast hit her, pushing her back a few inches, but she dug her boots in tight pushed forward, refusing to fall. Her ears rang with a high pitched tone, but she managed to power through it and block it out, giving her head a shake.

While the blast was loud, she didn’t think it was as powerful as it should have been, especially since she had given Aria that blow to the throat earlier. If Sunset hadn’t have done that, she might been in trouble.

Baring her blood-covered teeth, Aria let out a howl of frustration when the woman hadn’t fallen. Most people were knocked over by that shriek. Even after their gems had been broken. She wasn’t at full power but she should still be able to knock this dumb bitch down.

At her breaking point already, the siren jumped to her feet and threw her arms out. At first it looked like she was about to call it quits when suddenly her new black gem began to let off an unearthly glow. And all around her a shield of light formed to protect her. Though her throat hurt and her nose was broken, she managed to sing.

On the ground remained the image of the battered human woman singing, her voice a sultry mezzo. But rising above her the opaque image of her monstrous siren form appeared and from its throat a baritone that growled and beckoned. The song was designed to inflict the urge of self-harm upon the listener.

Nurse grenade, take the blade,

Separate the skin! Nurse grenade,

Take the blade! Make the metal sing!”

Only the strong of will could resist. The shield around the human form would protect her while the siren administered its spell. But the siren was not invincible. Magic could face it.

Sunset saw the siren charging at her with her head down, but all that did was give her a good opening to grab her by the twin pigtails, wrench her head back, and bring her kneecap right into her nose, once twice, three times in rapid succession.

“Stay. Down!” She said, throwing her off to the side in heap. She spat off to the positioned herself back in her crouching stance, prepared to keep throwing punches if the siren got back up.

Like a stunned animal, for a moment Aria was subdued. She scrambled on the ground and then rolled over onto her back, clutching her bloody nose. But the command to stay down– like she was some kind of disobedient pet– only boiled her blood more and she struggled up, on all fours. She sucked in a deep breath.

She scream she let out had enough blast power to knock over most people. The park was filled with the hellish shriek of the siren, aimed to knock Sunset off her feet.

Thankfully, Sunset wasn’t most people. She had only heard tales about the infamous Siren Shriek. It was stated that without magical protection or proper hearing protection, the damage from the shriek could cause someone to go deaf.

“I don’t care!” She snapped, shooting up from Nero’s lap. “They’re going to let me see her and they’re going to tell me what happened or Luna help nothing is gonna stop me from getting some answers about my sister!”

“What– they’re never going to tell you anything if you’re like that, they’re just going to knock you out!” Nero grit his teeth and sighed. “.. Look. I’m gonna try to stop crying and stay calm enough that they’ll tell me what happened, and then I’ll tell you. No matter how.. bad it might be, I won’t lie if you don’t want me to– … do you want me to?”

“They can try to knock me out!” She cried before taking a deep breath. “Look, I’m coming with you, whether you want me too or not. We’ll try it your way first, and if the doesn’t work, then we do it mine. Does that sound fair to you?”
