Sighing lightly to herself, Kat pulled her hood up over her head, and walked out from behind her hiding place. A wall.

She was trying to get across the street, but it was… crowded. Very, very crowded. And if someone saw her eyes, or even worse, her wristbands, she’d get called out for being a possessed being. That would suck.

And so, she just continued walking, trying to ignore all of the people around her.

Shimmer was just casually minding her own business when she saw the girl. It wasn’t like she was paying attention, but that girl stuck out like a sore thumb, so of course she had to say something.

“What’s up with those weird ass fuckin’ wristbands?”

Hearing the woman speak caused her to go into immediate panic. How did someone see her wristbands!? Her sleeve was down!

Without even taking the time to think about her situation, Kat vanished out of sight, and booked it for the nearest empty alleyway.

Shimmer was dumbstruck… for like a second. Then, a sly grin split across her face she looked at the spot where the girl had vanished. She may not be as powerful as most demons, but teleportation was something she could do. And it always left a trace. Stepping forward to where the girl was, she vanished for a second and appeared inside some kind of alleyway where she saw the girl again.

“Ya know,” she called out, “It’s really fucking rude to ignore people asking questions.”

(This is late, sorry!)

“…What the-”

Cheyloe expected this to be like any other day: going home and enjoying some alone time before her friends came back from their outings.  Instead, as luck would have it, she came across a girl sprawled across the ground for unknown reasons.  Was she attacked?  Was this a medical condition?  She couldn’t say…but she knew she had to make sure she was alive.

Chey leaned over her and gently shook her shoulder.  “Hey…hey, are you all right?  Can you tell me who you are?”

Sunset groaned lightly as she felt herself get shaken, pain slowly crawling through her body. Fists clenching, she let out a groan as she tried to crawl to her hands and feet, but a harsh wave of nausea took over and she felt a bitter, metallic taste fill her mouth and she spat out a glob of blood.

If she had taken the time to notice her reflection in a small pool of water near her, she almost wouldn’t be able to recognize herself. Small cuts and bruises littered her face, and her jacket was in near tatters. Blood poured from a small gash right above her eyes, causing her eye to shut, stinging from the blood.

“N-nuh… no… time… need to help… her…” she groaned as she desperately tried to get to her feet.
