“Well, Natsuki stated she would like to be notified beforehand. And here I am, doing this without her notice. O-oh… why do I do this… at least there’s a nice new member…” Yuri was clearly beginning to doubt herself again. “Perhaps Sayori.. might calm her down. She’s excellent at cheering everyone up.”
‘Oh boy. Another Pinkie Pie… No! Don’t think like that anymore! This is a new school, so forget about them! Move on, girl!’
Shaking her thoughts free, Sunset said, “Well, it’ll be alright. Things like that happen in life. Can’t control what the Universe has planned for us all the time.” Sunset said with a smile.
“Hey, I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t mean it.” Sunset said with a smile before pausing. “And… thank you…” She said, a little blush spreading across her face.
This was all going so pleasantly. Yuri wasn’t expecting someone to like her so much already. She was sure Sunset would like the other members of the club more, but for now…
“S-So.. I think Natsuki might be mad at me. Monika said we’re all supposed to be looking for new members, but… Natsuki usually makes cupcakes to celebrate, so…”

“Yuri? That’s a pretty name.” Sunset said with a smile. “I’m Sunset Shimmer.”
“O-oh, you don’t have to say that…” The other girl could be heard nervously chuckling before raking a hand through her hair. And in her opinion, a name like Sunset Shimmer was much more lovely. It painted such a nice picture in one’s mind! “Yours is rather unique. I don’t think I’ve met anyone with such a name… but it’s beautiful.”

“Cool!” Sunset said, trailing behind the girl. “I never got your name, by the way…”
“Oh! I’m.. so sorry,” Yuri paused while walking, before carrying on. She couldn’t believe she, of all people, had missed out on such a simple detail. “I am Yuri. What is your name?”
“Yuri? That’s a pretty name.” Sunset said with a smile. “I’m Sunset Shimmer.”
“Well, it’s a good thing I happen to love reading.” Sunset said with a smile. “Where’s the meeting being held?”
Ah, this had worked out so well! Yuri smiled brightly at the other, seeming to shine with a newfound confidence. “It’s just this way, follow me…” And, with that, she began to walk back the opposite direction.
“Cool!” Sunset said, trailing behind the girl. “I never got your name, by the way…”
