“Well..” He grew unsettled and began to entwine his fingers at the sound of her crying. That was so awful. She seemed so sad. “I don’t mind listening…”
She chuckled to herself as the voice spoke. At this point, the voice was the friendliest one she’d heard on a while. “Well, it all started a few months ago. I was going to high school, had good friends and trying to make a new life for myself, due to some issue I’d had in the past. Bad ones.”
She wiped her eyes before continuing. “It was going well. Until something happened. A gossip blog was made to slander me, and make me look like the bad person I was again. And the people that I called friends… The ones who called me family…” Her voice cracked as she said, “They abandoned me! They didn’t even give me a chance to explain myself! I tried so hard, but they just wouldn’t listen!”
“psst” He said, from the shadows. He couldn’t be seen, after all.
“Sorry I overheard but, what exactly don’t you wanna deal with? It can’t be that bad, right?”
Sunset’s head shot up with a snap, tears still streaming down her as she heard the new voice speak up. She quickly looked around and saw she was alone, and yet… She still heard the voice. Maybe she was imagining things. Or maybe she was finally at her wits end. Great that’s all she needed. “It’s a really long story.” She told the mysterious voice.
“No! It’s alright!” Sunset said. “I had an…” She hesitated slightly better saying, “Someone I knew once was and Baker, and every no and then she’d make stuff with really crazy ingredients in them. Some weren’t that bad, like a chocolate cupcakes with a hint of spicy peppers. Others…” She shutteres at the memory.
“Some baker. Hmph! Well, soon you’ll see – I make the best cupcakes out of anybody.” Natsuki huffed, turning her head to the side in a most snooty fashion.
“Sigh… so, Sunset, what subject of literature do you find yourself most accustomed to?”
“Well, I guess I’ll have to see because I’ve had some pretty amazing cupcakes.” Sunset said with a chuckle.
“I’m more into fiction, sci-fi, mystery and horror. Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and John Saul are a few personal favorites of mine.”
If there is one thing you all should know about me, it’s this
I am ALYWAYS a up for AUs
And when I say always, I mean always. I have more AU ideas than I can count. Check out my verses page, or ask if I have a particular verse already. If I don’t chances are that I will get excited and make it happen. Never feel shy or bad about throwing an au idea you’d like to do at me, or if we’re mutuals just write me the starter, or send the message. I will sit in my chair and probably scream a little bit because OH MY GOSH AUUUUUUUSSSSSS!!
We can do one long thread, or we can do several short threads. We can have several threads in the same au! It doesn’t really matter as long as you’re happy, and I’m happy, and we get to have fun!
Sunset let out a giggle as she her Natsuki’s comment. “Wow, well thank you! Just promise me you use bacon, ketchup or mustard in them. That’s usually what people associate my hair with.”
At that, Natsuki reeled back in disgust. “Who uses those in cupcakes? Gross! I was thinking more raspberry, lemon, and strawberry. I don’t know what kinda cupcakes you’re used to eating, but–”
“Natsuki, please do not bully our new member.”
“How am I bullying her?!”
