Sunset chuckled and walked over to sit next to Yuri. “Neither have I so, it should be fun!” Sunset said.

“E-Erm… did you bring one of your books, or…” She shyly looked away again, raking a hand through her hair nervously. “Would you prefer we read one of mine?”

“Well… We can read one of yours of you like?” Sunset said with a smile.

“Mastering anything taking time, I can’t do it alone due to my own perssonal issues. Though, Regardless…I do try everyday to overcome what I had in my passt.” Not being somebody with high confidence, Soldan had obstacles to overcome on a fair daily basis.

Wow. This was… Really relatable. “I can’t tell you how much I feel you on that. When I was younger, I was a bitch, for lack of a better term. I was mean, selfish, and just… A bitch. But then I met some people, had a change of heart and tried to atone for my mistakes. But… I learned that no matter what I did, they still saw me as the same person…”

Her face softened to worry, but wanting to help out somehow. Glancing down in a thought once again, “I won’t prod you on what happened, but I don’t ssee you as a mean persson. I don’t judge anybody on actionss, but I try my besst to talk thingss out with otherss if they feel down…or needing to vent.”

“That’s alright. I’m over it all and I’ve moved on to better things.” Sunset said with a smile. “So where are you headed?”

“Hey!” Sunset said, trying to get Natsuki’s attention. “I already told Yuri I’d be reading with her this week.” She said, throwing a hopefully subtle wink her way. “But if you want, I’ll read with you next week. Does that sound good?”

All week?!” Natsuki’s eyes widened in a disgusted glare, before she turned away and huffed. “I mean… do whatever you want. It’s not like I really wanted you to read with me or anything. I just wanted you to feel included.”

Sayori, sensing the other girl feeling rather upset, ran right up to her. “I’ll read manga with you, Natsuki~!”

“… Hmph, I guess you can.” And with that, the two went to the closet together to pick out what they would read for the day.

… With the conflict seemingly resolved, Yuri took her seat at her desk. “Thank you for offering to read with me, Sunset. I… I’ve never had a reading partner before…”

Sunset chuckled and walked over to sit next to Yuri. “Neither have I so, it should be fun!” Sunset said.
