alright, it happens!” Sunset said with a smile. “And yeah, I am. I know
it’s a little late in the year, but I had some issues with my old
school, so I came here. I’m Sunset, by the way. Sunset Shimmer.” She
said, extending her hand out to shake.

April sighed in relief, taking her hand and shaking it. “I-If you’re sure, and woah awesome.” It was always nice to see a new face around New York, especially one attending her school. “April, April O’Neil. It’s nice to meet you Sunset.”

“It’s nice to meet you too. I gotta say, NYC isn’t what I expected it would be, especially with all the news I’ve heard off and on.” Sunset said, walking to her new locker.

Sunset adjusted herself and gently moved her desk closer to Yuri’s, gently pressing her shoulder up againt hers. She wasn’t absorbed yet, so she had plenty of time to be embarrassed. Her face tinted a slight red, she looked at Yuri one last time before starting to read.

The other girl’s purple eyes slowly made their way down the page. Once she was halfway there, her attention finally diverted from the book and her sheepish expression returned as she whispered, “Do you – like it so far…?”

Sunset glanced up at Yuri and suddenly almost found herself nose to nose with girl. Her expression almost matching andher face getting even redder, she let out a soft, “I-I love it…”
