(Eh, never really thought about it. The whole reason I started this blog was to have a Sunset AU where she leaves Canterlot because Anon-a-Miss gets to be too much for her. Plus, it gives a somewhat plasuable reason for her meeting all the characters from all the different blogs she interacts with since she’s traveling wherever she feels like going.
Shimmer wasn’t expecting the paralyzing spell. She felt Armadia’s fist plow into her nose, shattering it, blood flowing like a river. She dropped like a sack of rocks and felt Armadia repeatedly kick her as she suddenly heard the girl speak up. Huh.
Savanna stood up, trembling, and pulled Armadia by her coat away from the other woman. “J-J-J.. Just stop!”
“I know – I know she was being mean to me before, but – but the only reason she a-actually tried hurting me just now was because I was gonna be mean to you! So stop! I’m n-n-… not gonna tell anyone!”
“… Thank you for speaking up and stopping me after I was already beating her up.”
Savanna pouted, shivering a little. “I-I was s-s-still really scared, okay?”
Shimmer remained motionless, pain throbbing throughout her body.
Shimmer clenched her fists, trembling in rage as tear tracks began to stream down her face. She wanted to kill this girl SO MUCH… but if it meant Armadia getting hurt or worse, she was willing to take a few blows. “Just do what you have to…” She said, giving the demon a gentle kiss on the forehead. “Only for you…”
“… Alright, I retract my promise. This is going to hurt. And I am sorry.” Armadia gently set a hand on Shimmer’s forehead, placing a curse mark there that would serve to paralyze her entire body – and then, she gave her a hard punch clear in the face. “GAH!”
“I’m sorry, Shimmer!” She ran over and gave her body a few swift kicks, trying to make this as brief as possible. “I’m just doing this to keep both of us safe! Now she won’t have to lie!”
“.. S-S-S..”
“WHAT?!” Armadia shrieked.
“S-S-STOP HURTING HER!”

“She will make something up. Something that DOESN’T involve our little chat. Ally or not, I’m not gonna take anymore threatening you like that.” Shimmer said, dropping the girl.
“.. You can do that, right, Savanna? Right?!”

Armadia smacked herself in the forehead. “Dear mother of vengeance – talk! Can you talk? Did she scare you too much to speak? …”
“Shimmer, I promise this won’t hurt, I just think I have to do it in order to set things right. If I don’t protect this child, what kind of ally am I, you know? By letting you scare her so much – I failed to protect her, and… I’ll deserve whatever punishment comes my way if I don’t do something.”

“There’s a lot of things I can take, but you are NOT gonna blackmail her! You do decide to do that and she dies, then that means I really have nothing left to lose. Which means I WILL find you, I WILL kill you and then take my own death in stride! So you think twice before what you decide to say! GOT IT?!”
“Wait, Shimmer, DON’T–!” Despite her pleas, it was too late. The kid was already being grabbed up by her neck and lightly choking. “Oh, no…”
Savanna squirmed slightly in the other’s grasp, kicking her legs into the dirt and feeling more helpless than the deer she had seen being crushed. She was too scared to say anything even if she could. The power she thought she had was just a delusion.
… The side of her multi-colored stockings began turning wet.
“Mother of Vengeance, Shimmer, stop it! You made her urinate! What am I supposed to tell Dante if he asks about what happened here?!”

To suddenly have so much power over a couple of bullies… it was kind of fun, wasn’t it? Savanna started giggling a little more, redirecting her attention to Armadia.
“Huh. Well, I guess you have, uh, more than Cicero to worry about, Armadia. I mean.. especially after scaring me so much. It’d be really sad if Nero found out.”
Armadia froze. “… Are you blackmailing me?!”
“Oh, HELL no!” Shimmer snarled. Moving quickly, she let go of Armadia and quickly grabbed this… Snarky little shit by her throat, baring her teeth in rage. She pulled her in close, her eyes blazing with hate.

“.. As an ally of Dante, I must say that in turn I am an ally of Nero, and would probably be murdered by Dante if I did not inform either of them of you harming her …”
Savanna was initially shaking in fear at Shimmer’s threat, but slowly began to stop, giving a smug “take-that” smile. “Heehee~”

“Who’s Sparda?” Shimmer asked. Noticing Armadia’s sudden mood shift, she moved a little closer to her and slid an arm around her waist, flashing her a quick smile.
“Also, you need to be careful kid. Especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. What are you gonna do if a Demon does find you?”
“Look, it doesn’t matter. She doesn’t know Dante, so just kill this brat before–”
“I do know another of Sparda’s descendants, though! His grandson,” said Savanna smugly, arms crossing as she suddenly lost her meek demeanor, and Armadia’s hopes dropped further. “Nero.”
“… Shimmer, she’s untouchable. If you hurt her and Nero knows, Dante will find out, and you’re going to die …”
