Sunset was on a mission. She had only ever see the catalogs of BHO, but she had never actually bothered to use it. At least until now. She had gotten it back when she was still her old self and hadn’t look at it much, but now that she had a use for it, she figured she’d make an appointment. Hopefully they’d hear what she had to say, considering she was a villian once too.
She in the lobby of Black Hat’s mansion, waiting for her name to be called. She kept playing back the incidents in her head, and the methods as for why she need to come here. It definitely wasn’t her first choice, but with as much funds as she had from home, she chose to go big. And plus, it would definitely help draw less attention then what she had originally planned.
She sighed to herself looking around the lobby as she took in the Gothic style structure of the home. ‘Black Hat certainly has a dark taste,’ she thought to her self. She was almost alone, if not for the other woman sitting across from her. Dressed in red, she looked at her curiously. ‘Huh… Three eyes… Eh, not the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen.’ She thought to herself before turning back to the catalogue.
Demencia had arrived early at the mansion to help prepare for an anniversary party that would be going on that evening, so she was one of many servants who could be found walking around here and there putting up decorations. The company was old. Older than some people realized. And celebrating its anniversaries became a big deal.
When Demencia spotted a young woman with red and gold hair seated alone she assumed she was a new maid and whistled to her, “Hey, Red! Help me with the punch bowl, huh? Most of the baddies coming tonight are carnivorous. So we’re putting these eyeballs in them.” She pulled out a container that housed an array of different sized eyeballs.
Demencia herself looked nice though. She was in a black and red dress with a small black hat on her head and looked stunning this evening.
“You can’t just sit around. The boss’ll be pissed!”
“Um… I… I’m sorry?” Sunset said curiously. “I was hoping to make an appointment somehow? I’m having a little… trouble in my life right now.”
She looked at the woman who had snapped at her and told her to move the punch bowl up and down, a small blush on her face at the sight of her dress. Man, she was pretty, and Sunset felt incredibly underdressed compared to her. “I… What’s going on exactly?” Sunset aksed. “Is there a party going on? I can come back later.”
“Even if I said I was from a different dimension?” Sunset asked with a small smile. “I can feel this place radiating with a form of magic, but it doesn’t feel anything like I’ve ever delt with before.”
“I’ve been to thousands of different dimensions and universes, I don’t think you being from another one is so far off.” He paused as he gazed about the sanctum, nodding his head. “Yes, this place is a place of pure magic… It is the New York Sanctum of Kamar-taj, my Sanctum Sanctorum.”
“The… Sanctum Sanctorum? Wait, The Sanctum Sanctorum?” Sunset said flabbergasted. “I… I thought that was a myth… On my world of Equestria, we had fictional stories and legends about mystical places and things like that, but it was always passed off as fake… Kamar-Taj was one of them, and I never really looked into it’s actuality.” Sunset said, gazing around the lobby. “But this place is incredible…”
Sunset still didn’t know how the hell she had ended up her. On minute, she was by the portal that led to Equestria, considering going back. She was fixing to take a step through when… Something happened. The last thing she remembered was was being sucked through, and waking up in front of this building.
“Um.. you don’t really looking like an average Doctor.” Sunset said skeptically. “But… I’m not sure you can help me with my… Problem. You’ll probably think I’m crazy or something.” Sunset said with a nervous laugh.
“I was a neurosurgeon before an accident took away my hands, so you’d be right to assume I don’t look like a normal doctor– but I still have my PhD and doctorate, as well as other degrees.” Stephen explained with a shrug of his shoulders. She wouldn’t have been the first person to point out this fact, and she wouldn’t be the last, but that didn’t change the slight annoyance it brought into his skull.
“I don’t think that’ll be the case. I’ve seen things that most couldn’t even dream about, I doubt that I’ll think you’re crazy. If anything it’d be the other way around.” If she could only know the expanses of the multiverse, perhaps she’d see just how foolish it was to think about others thoughts.
“Even if I said I was from a different dimension?” Sunset asked with a small smile. “I can feel this place radiating with a form of magic, but it doesn’t feel anything like I’ve ever delt with before.”
“We do not at this time. Disease, the new album, hasn’t been released yet. I mean we have ‘Agressive’ the 2016 album from them. And we might have some promotional employee merch for the album that we’re overstocked on that I can get you.” Regal said with a reassuring smile. “I’m not sure when Diseased will be released. Sorry about that.” he said with a small frown. “But, I can add you to our notification squad if you’d like.” added the orange skin boy, about Sunset’s age.
Regal was quite the kind-hearted gentleman, and, like Sunset, had been framed for something he didn’t do. He was a great student, but after being accused of stealing guy’s girlfriend, he dropped out. He had very few friends, though. There was something inside regal that was telling him, though that he would at some point in time find something in common with sunset and perhaps befriend her.
“Shit…” She cursed under her breath as she rubbed the bridge of her nose with a slight scowl. “Alright. Then gimme a pack of Erine Ball strings. The hybrid slinky nickel wound for an electric guitar in the 9-46 gauge.”
“Ernie Ball strings 9-46 gauge slinky nickel. Ummm… I know we don’t have any here on the floor, but I can quickly check the back.” he said reassuringly. He then went through the door covered with a poster for Journey’s ‘Escape’ album.
He came back a minute later with his guitar, a vintage Gibson LesPaul, “Listen. We’re out of those strings, but I just stung my guitar using a pack of the same kind and gauge of Ernie Ball strings from my own place. I can give you these if you’d like. Otherwise I can check my car to see if I have some.” Regal kindly offered, getting some tools to unwind the strings from the drawer in case Sunset wanted to take his offer.
“I honestly missed this.~” Sunset said, sitting on Yuri’s lap, facing her. She smiled as she wrapped her arms around her and leaned in to place a soft kiss on Yuri’s lips.
“I-I did too…” Yuri squeaked a little softly as the other moved on top of her. The girl wasn’t stupid and knew it was pointless to struggle against the restraints, but she did really wish she could hold Sunset now. The other could be such a tease!
“Mhh- I.. I love you, even if you do have me in a rather awkward position~? Hehe..”
“Well, I don’t want you squirming around too much, now do I?~” Sunset said, gently tracing a finger along Yuri’s chin.
