She opened the door to show Shimmer around the BHO lab. She knew the demon had never been inside the mansion and technically visitors were a no-no but she’d take the flack if something went wrong. Nobody was home but them.
“This is where the Doctor does his stuff. I was made here…” she gestured to all the equipment and experiment tables.
“Well, still. That kinda sucks.” Shimmer said glumly. “But, let’s not dwell on that! Think I could see the lair of the lizard?~” Shimmer asked with a grin.
“Hehe, come on,” she took the demon’s hand and led her to her, her sneakers moving swiftly across the lab floor. Through the spacious manor and across several halls, Demencia was able to locate a room that looked deadbolted from the outside. But she slipped in a skeleton key and gave it a shove with her shoulder.
Inside was a room that definitely looked like the lair of a college-aged girl. One who loved monsters. All kinds of monsters. Godzilla, King Kong, the Lagoon Creature, Frankenstein’s monster, Dracula, the Phantom of the Opera, the Huncback of Notre Dame, lesser known monstrosities, Godzilla’s many, many Japanese rivals, demons, dinosaurs, dragons, mythical beasts, and the list went on. Posters, action figures, statues, toys, dolls in pillow and plushie form, blankets, drawings and doodles, paintings, calendars, watches…
“…eh…hehehe,” Demencia giggled. “I like monsters a little bit.”
To say that Shimmer was in awe was an understatement. She slowly moved around the room, taking in the sight of all of Demencia’s monster stuff. “Really?” She said with smirk. “I couldn’t tell."
"So, what’s there to do in the lizard den now that you’ve got a monster in your room?”

“Huh… he doesn’t look like a villain.” Shimmer said quietly. “He looks more like a giant teddy bear.“
She grinned, and looked back at the table, absentmindedly running her hand over it. “You said you were a normal girl once. What happened? Did you volunteer for this or something?”
“I don’t remember,” she told her honestly. “No memory whatsoever.”
There was a complete blank as to whoever Demencia used to be. Whenever she tried to reach for those memories she hit a painful block. And if she pushed against it she was met with violent breakdowns and other unpleasant results.
“It doesn’t bother me.”
She wasn’t sure if that was the complete truth or not but it had to do. She did like being Demencia after all. She adored and served the ideals of Evil.
"Well, still. That kinda sucks.” Shimmer said glumly. “But, let’s not dwell on that! Think I could see the lair of the lizard?~” Shimmer asked with a grin.

“Wow… I must admit, this is quite impressive.” Shimmer said with a nod of her head. “But… what do you mean, made?” Shimmer said with a raised brow. “Were you not born normally?”
“Well, it’s sort of complicated,” Demencia explained to the best of her ability. Which wasn’t the most eloquent. “I’m a super being but I wasn’t always. I was reprogrammed from a normal human chick,” she gestured to a bolted door in the back of the lab which her eyes seemed to keep roving to. Perhaps a place of importance.
“My brain, my biological functions, everything. Totally rewired. I’m considered a one-hundred percent success!” she told her. “So I say I was made here because I sort of was. Just like 5.0.5. He the maid here. Big blue bear with a flower on his head. You’d know him when you…” she stopped short as she dug in her purse to pull out a picture of 5.0.5. for Shimmer to look at. Most photos of the personnel at BHO were restricted from being kept on her person when she left headquarters but she managed to keep that one because most people thought it was just a mascot of some place or fake.
“This is him!” she told her. “Sort of like a brother. He was made here too.”
“Huh… he doesn’t look like a villain.” Shimmer said quietly. “He looks more like a giant teddy bear."

“A little bored. A little restless. And a lot happy to see my favorite demon!” she threw her arms up and hugged Shimmer. “How are you doing, Shimmy?”
“Mmmm, I can’t say that, that’s a bit dirty.” Shimmer said with a wink. “But I am doing better now that you’re here.” Shimmer said, pulling Demencia in close and giving her a soft kiss on the nose.
