“God, you sound like a wanna be gang member, and I hate those. So why don’t you shut that pretty mouth of yours and bring it.” Sunset said with a sneer.

“Ugh, don’t even compare me to – fine!” It was the first time she had actually had to use this knife to defend herself, but Heather had the feeling if she didn’t Sunset would have thrown the first punch. And that would’ve sucked.

So she blindly swung the knife ahead of herself, hoping to cut the other, buy herself some time, and book it out of there.

But Sunset saw the swing coming from a mile away. It was sloppy, wild and didn’t have any real threat behind it. Moving quickly, she grabbed the girls wrist with her left hand and swatted the knife out her hand with her right with an open palmed blow to her hand, before throwing a hard right uppercut into her stomach.

“Aww, what the matter? Know you’re gonna get your ass kicked?” Sunset said, slowly moving closer towards her. “And for the record, its boxing. And a little Judo.”

“Judo..?!” Heather really wished she had brought her stun gun instead of the knife. Damn it. “Look. I have a knife and you don’t. So… just call it quits or you’re getting cut. I’m not the one in danger here!”

“God, you sound like a wanna be gang member, and I hate those. So why don’t you shut that pretty mouth of yours and bring it.” Sunset said with a sneer.

Sunset raised an eyebrow at the girls knife, but then gave a toothy grin as she moved her feet a little wider, raised her arms a little lower and open her palms, saying “Really? And her I thought you’d fight fair.”

“Fight fair? You’re the one who looks like you’re trained in… whatever!” Heather complained, keeping the knife pointed out and backing up until she hit the wall. “Ugh! Stop smiling like that!”

“Aww, what the matter? Know you’re gonna get your ass kicked?” Sunset said, slowly moving closer towards her. “And for the record, its boxing. And a little Judo.”

Eventually, Sunset made her way into a nearby alley way. It was poorly light, quiet and absolutely perfect for what was about to take place. She stripped off her jacket, and then her shirt, revealing her lightly toned stomach underneath. She stretched out her arms a few times, before pulling herself into and semi-crouch boxing stance, fists protective in front of her face.

Heather followed awkwardly, feeling a little bit of anxiety welling up as she was almost certain her ass was about to be kicked. Hard. How would she even explain it to her Dad if she got caught covered in bruises?

Perhaps she shouldn’t go for fists.

God… this girl was more muscular than she thought. Heather almost ended up staring.

But finally, she set down the bag with her pendant and things in it, reached into her pocket and pulled out her switchblade, flicking it open and pointing it directly at Sunset. “Back off.”

Sunset raised an eyebrow at the girls knife, but then gave a toothy grin as she moved her feet a little wider, raised her arms a little lower and open her palms, saying “Really? And her I thought you’d fight fair.”

If Subsets eyes could burn holes into the girls head, then she would be dead. There was no smile on her face, only a cold, hard stare. She saw the girl look back at once and threateningly cracked her knuckles, and then her neck, only saying “Move it,” in a harsh tone.

Heather picked up the pace and turned away. Her freckled face was already losing color. Shit, Sunset looked confident. And.. Heather knew that jewelry and things tended to get ripped off in fights.

Even though she promised her dad to take care of and never remove that pendant, the teen began unhooking it from her neck and placed it into one of her bags.

“Sorry, Dad..” She whispered.

Taking it off went against what she promised, but if that also meant taking care of it, she’d be okay, right? She didn’t know what Sunset would do if she found out how important that thing was to her.

Sunset paused, a fist raised above her head before she glared at the girl once more. “Fine. Get your ass outside then. Now.”

“Ugh…” Heather sat up, shoving the other off before rising to her feet and beginning to walk the other way toward the exit. Her first fight. Great. They’d probably have to do it somewhere secluded so nobody would call the police…

Still, she was mostly thinking of how she was going to do it. Heather had never gotten in a physical fight before in her life, and she didn’t want to use the knife unless she seriously felt threatened. But… what did girls usually do when they fought? Pulled hair, threw a punch every once in a while… that’s all that was coming to her head. On the bright side, she didn’t have much hair to pull, even if there was still some there …

But Sunset looked like the kind of girl who got into a lot of fights. Heather glanced back as she walked, trying to see how confident she looked.

If Subsets eyes could burn holes into the girls head, then she would be dead. There was no smile on her face, only a cold, hard stare. She saw the girl look back at once and threateningly cracked her knuckles, and then her neck, only saying “Move it,” in a harsh tone.

“Edgy?! Bitch, I’ll show you edgy!!” She cried before throwing herself at the girl in question, intent on tackling her to the ground.

Heather knew what was coming, and tried to run. She had always talked about how she would inevitably get into a fight one day and was actually looking forward to it. But in the middle of a mall where she could get kicked out by security and have her dad called? Come on!

“Can’t we take this outside?!” Heather shrieked, kicking her legs uselessly underneath Sunset and mostly just trying to get the other off her. “You’re not going to be able to do much before we get thrown out!”

Sunset paused, a fist raised above her head before she glared at the girl once more. “Fine. Get your ass outside then. Now.”

Sunset let out a loud ‘snerk’at the girls misfortune and said, “Wow. That was pretty smooth.”

“… You’re right, I should be a little nicer to you.” Heather bent down to pick her things up, and as she stood, she pointed to the right. “Most egdy girls who are waaaay too obsessed with leather shop at Zeke’s, it’s that way. Have a nice day~”

She tried to walk away from any further confrontation, but yeah, she wouldn’t have been able to live with herself without getting the last word.

“Edgy?! Bitch, I’ll show you edgy!!” She cried before throwing herself at the girl in question, intent on tackling her to the ground.

“Yeah, you said it looked weird after you laughed and insulted me.” Sunset said, tossing her items on the counter before placing her hands on her hips. “And I’m getting huffy because as soon as you fucking see me, it something snarky from you.”

“I’m leaving now. So put your big girl pants on and get over it already,” Heather threw her hands up in the air – and dropped her bags. “God-!”

Sunset let out a loud ‘snerk’at the girls misfortune and said, “Wow. That was pretty smooth.”
