“Well, what do you normally do for fun when you’re out and about on the town?” Sunset asked with a grin. “I’m up for pretty much anything, really.”

“Well, I’m sure it’s no surprise, but I like causing just a little bit of trouble.” By a little, Demencia means a lot. “Buuuut, if you’re not up for that, I can figure something else out!”

Sunset seemed to stroke a hand on her chin, seeming to be deep in thought before she merely shrugged, asking “You wanna go rob something?”

Baby-Doll
Batman: The Animated Series

This is one criminally underrated Batman villain.

SERIOUSLY THOUGH SHE WAS MY FAVORITE BATMAN VILLAIN

Her physical condition didn’t allow her to age

No one took her seriously as an actress

And even when she was trying to get into a happy romantic relationship (albeit with another villain) he still couldn’t take her seriously as a consenting, sexually active and romantically interested adult

That’s a lot of blows to someone’s psyche

and Babydoll is both a sympathetic villain and a formidable one

I remember this episode fucked me up a a kid.

And man, do I wish we could see this Batman again: the Batman that consoles his villains, because the majority (if not all) of them are mentally ill people. And Batman knows this and wants them healthy again, not punished and GOD definitely not dead.

Baby Doll is so underrated as a Batman villain

but her episode was perfect

Batman: The Animated Series

The story of one fucked up, traumatized little boy, doing his best to help other fucked up traumatized people.

#this show is the only batcanon that matters to me #dc can burn everything else down but they’ll never pry the dcau from cold dead clawed hands

The Batman that cares about the inmates is my favorite. He doesn’t put up with their shit, but he does try to reach out here and there and he’s as human as he can be to them.

When Harley was re-institutionalized, he got her that dress she wanted.

In the comics based on B:tAS, there was a time during Christmas that there was snow and it was Mr. Freeze’s fault, and he was making it snow because Christmas was his anniversary with Nora and she LOVED it when it snowed on Christmas, so Batman let him finish mourning before calmly taking him back to Arkham.

He never, ever gives up on Harvey possibly recovering.

Sure, Batman is going to throw punches and do what it takes to take these guys down when they’re hurting or threatening people. And he’s not going be a complete bleeding heart; he has to protect the innocent. He’s going to take them down and take them back to Arkham, but it doesn’t mean he’s incapable of being a bit human to the ones who deserve it.

Batman needs become human again

Because it needs to be here:

Remember that time a young girl with near god-like psychic powers threatened to destroy reality and the only one that could stop her was Batman because he had a previous encounter with her and was tasked with killing her to restore reality.

But instead, Batman sat with her on a swing and kept her company as the girl’s psychic powers slowly killed her.

No?

Fuck you people making me emotional

The. Batman.

This is MY Batman, not the murderous fascist they’ve made him into.

She was hungry, not like she was starving but damn she wanted some chocolate, and she wanted it fucking badly. Whom could she go and seduce into buying her a nice cake……the angel was out and she was on the hunt, something that had never failed to pay off, girls or guys everyone wanted to have a beautiful girl make them feel special, she wasn’t as free with it as Panty was but she would not shy away from getting things for flirting……and right now she had her target, the girl had this aura about her that screamed she liked strong personalities…..

So Stocking casually walked right up to the girl, grabbed the back of her head, and pulled her into a very deep, very passionate kiss.

It took about thirty seconds for her to pull away, “Whatya say to buying a fucking hot ass chick a chocolate cake, if ya do I’ll give ya another fucking kiss.”

Well. Getting kissed by a random, hot stranger was something she didn’t expect to happen today. All she could do keep her eyes open in shock as she felt the woman’s lips on hers, unsure of just what the fuck to do. Should she kiss her back?

But before she could decide or not, she felt the woman break the kiss, instinctively leaning in for more until she caught herself. “Uh… I’m… What?” She said with a heavy blush.

Sunset merely quirked up an eyebrow at the new being standing before her. “First of all, there were six of them. And second of all, who the fuck are you?”

A small roll of the eyes, as if that mattered at all, especially since she knew from the reports that only one could actually use the magic and the other’s just fed her power……untrained and unskilled was no excuse for failure.

“Your lack of knowledge is astounding, with their level of talent it doesn’t matter if there were one or a dozen of them, as for who I am….” She tapped her desk lightly as if considering if she should even answer the fiery female in front of her. “Your superior.”

It took every fiber of Sunset’s being not to laugh in her face as she heard the woman say “Superior”. Unfortunately, she still let slip a giggle as she said, “Really? And what gives you that bright idea?”

rp pet peeve ; when writing with a villain, one continues to poke the bear but once said villain retaliates, other’s grow upset or perturbed.

always remember ; if you choose poke the bear, you will get bitten.

VILLAINS are not punching bags, they are opposition that pose a TRUE & REAL THREAT. antagonize one & you incur the wrath. do not smite the writer for their chosen direction as they are simply reacting as their muse commands. ( & believe me, if you’re writing a villain, the muse is in control ). villains are not teddy bears. villains are complex, multi-faceted. perhaps they react in one way to one & differently to another. bonds are formed different. villains can sometimes be unhinged mentally where reasoning is skewed or twisted. they are not to be underwritten as little puppies with attitude issues. they are rabid dog most tend to shy away from. they don’t need a little love or a sprinkle of fairy dust to feel better, to be good. some villains don’t want to be redeemed. some villains don’t want emotional connection. many are selfish & if an emotional connection is sought after the villain will usually ( ALWAYS ) put themselves first. always talk to the mun, get a feel for the muse, get to know the limits – what lines to cross, what lines to avoid like the plague.
