“Whatever you wish ma’am. Just because I’m here doesn’t mean you have to change your daily life for me.” Sunset said, trying not to look the bombshell in the eyes. “My job is to ensure no one attempts to hurt or attack you, and I am to remain by your side at all time, except for…” she cleared her throat with a small blush, saying “Private matters. You won’t even know I’m here.”
She doubted all of that.
The mink knew the dealings involving her were more than just being faceless protectors. They had reasons, requests from higher ups. Some sleezy, some naughty, some disrespectful…. There was always someone who was after something from her, acting as if she owned them to her fame and that through this bodyguard, they could get accordingly. Her trust with Sunset was low, his distrust there and waiting patiently to be proven right.
“I’ll always know you are nearby.” She commented plainly, leaning back a little as her lithe arms were folded under that impressive chest of hers. A finger tapped her bicep as she pondered on what and where to go. “Rehearsals are done so I am going to…. refresh myself at a spa.” She concluded simply.
With that, she turned sharply, leaving her dressing room as is. Her assistants would deal with that later, she was certain as well as it being her own space, it made sense to leave a few things in there she did not require. Knowing she was to be followed, she merely walked along as the bare-footed gal she was towards where her car was.
As Sunset walked a few paces behind her she always kept a sharp eye not only on Minerva, but on her surroundings as well. People walking up and down the street, doors opening and closing, along with where the entrances and exits were, marking where they were in her mind in case she needed to make a quick leave with Minerva in tow.
Sunset knew Minerva didn’t trust her. The looks of slight distane and boredom told her that in an instant, and while it did hurt, and the less then stellar way the two meet didn’t help, she had dealt with it before. All she could do was smile and keep her safe. And open a a car door for her as she made her way to it. “Which spa are you going to? I can drive you there.”
