Ditzy firmly pressed Sunset against the couch, her eyes hazy with lust as they looked over the others body. While her body didn’t look very built, the blonde was actually quite strong. “Su-Sunset…” Her breathing was heavy while she spoke, her thoughts were all over the place which made it difficult to from sentences.
I..I..need you..Plea-Please..Right here. Right now.” She pleaded, involuntary pressing herself against her friend’s body and ever so gently grind her hips against hers. “Everything feels so hot..I..I can’t take it anymore!”
Sunset was at a total loss. This was the last thing she had expected when Ditzy had invited her over, her voice sounding frantic over the phone as she spoke. She couldn’t make out what the woman was saying, so she had decided to head over there herself.
Now her she was, pinned down against her friend with a lustful look in the others eye. “I… what?” She stammered out, gently gripping her shoulders and pushing her back a bit.
“You really love Winter, don’t you?” Shimmer asks with a small smile.
“It is the nighttime of the year. The dramatic pause at the end of a long delivery. After the noise of the three other seasons, we can rest in the Winter. Some call it bleak. We see solitude,” she nodded.
“I think you’d like a little town where I’m from then.” Shimmer said, sitting on her haunches,l before continuing. “It’s located in a small big state waaay up north away from the rest of the world. It’s cold there year round, and not a lot of people live up there. But those that do manage to make it. But the people in the northernmost town, they go through a period of darkness that lasts for nearly 67 days.”
Sunset gave the handyman a short nod as she eyed him working on her bike. He was a large man, but he gave off a very friendly vibe, on that she felt an immediate comfort too.
With a small smile and a little worry now behind her, she turned back to Pacifica and said. “Oh… people call me Sunset. It’s… it’s just what I’ve always gone by.” She said with a small smile. No way in hell was she gonna tell her her full name. She had the feeling she might think Sunset was insane so hopefully Pacifica would buy it, for now at least.
Pacifica rose an eyebrow, but otherwise her expression did not change. “Nickname or something your parents stuck you with?” She barely waited a beat before waving it off- “Doesn’t matter. Want to like, go in while Soos works?”
Said handyman made some comment requesting that if they were getting food to get something for him too.
She wrinkled her nose, “I was just going to get coffee. But I’ll like, order pizza for you. Large, extra cheese right?” He nodded and she shot off a text. “You like, want anything to eat Sunset?”
Sunset merely gave the woman a small shake of her head. “I already ate a while back, so I’m good for now. But I’ll take a drinking if you have any. Preferably something with alcohol if you don’t mind. It’s… it’s been a long day.”
Sunset’s eyes widened as she heard the name “Northwest”. “Wait, THE Northwest? Who hasn’t heard of you? You’re one of the biggest names in the nation next to that Tony Stank guy in New York. What are you doing all the way out here?” The woman ask she as got into the car, adjusting the bag on her back that she had managed to snag off her bike before the mechanic strapped it to his truck.
“I live here.” It was where she’d grown up, and sure the town was small and the people were stupid(mostly due to brain damage from a memory erasing cult) but it was her home. She couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. “This is my hometown.” She’d become big news when she took over the family corporation, especially considering her youth.
The manor was a short drive, she told the security guard to let Soos in at the gate and drove the long way up her driveway, past elegantly decorated lawns and water fountains, free roaming peacocks and other luxuries. She waved off the servant offering to park her car in the garage, driving there herself to show Soos where he could park and work. Her garage was larger than most people’s houses filled with luxurious and beautiful cars, although she didn’t pay much attention to them. Instead exchanging a few words with Soos as he detached the motorcycle from his truck. As he set to work, she leaned against the car she’d stepped out of just moments before, “You didn’t tell me your name. What even like, brought you here?”
