December 17th, they’re making the final cut. Tumblr has had the last straw, HOWEVER there are loopholes.
Adult content primarily includes photos, videos, or GIFs that show real-life human genitals or female-presenting nipples, and any content—including photos, videos, GIFs and illustrations—that depicts sex acts.
Written content such as erotica, nudity related to political or newsworthy speech, and nudity found in art, such as sculptures and illustrations, are also stuff that can be freely posted on Tumblr.
So audio is not listed here. Audio would, in fact, fall under “written content such as erotica” because there’s no ban against using your imagination.
Also to them porn is categorized as “photos, videos, or GIFs that show real-life human genitals.” So basically normie porn. Now “illustrations that include sex acts” may be tough to get around UNLESS artists go for anthro or furry pinups and call it artistic expression.
