Sunset’s bike was running low on gas. She figured she could make it to at least Portland before she had to fill up, but that was no longer the case. She didn’t even know why she was going to Oregon in the first place. She just felt… Compelled to go. Like something was calling her to do it.

She shook the thoughts looks from her head and slowed down, taking a look at her surroundings, which judging by the looks of it, was just a lot of forest and trees. But suddenly… She saw something. A small sign that read “Mystery Shack: 5 miles”.

She smiled to herself. That sign meant there was a probably a tourist trap ahead and where there was a tourist trap… There was a town, and where there’s a town… There’s a gas station. Perfect!

After a few minutes, she came upon a…. Well, it certainly didn’t look like a shack to her. It looked more like a rundown building. Hell, even a letter was missing off of sign. But that didn’t matter. Pulling up, she unzipped her short leather jacket and let wind finally breath on her skin. She sighed in relief as she stretched her legs and walked along the gravel on the ground. It crunched under her feet as she made her way to the screen door.

Gently pushing it open, she looked around the small… gift shop? Huh. Alright then. She looked around the small gift shop and took notice of the person working the counter.

“Um, excuse me.” She asked, “I was wondering if you could tell me what town I’m in?”

Dipper awoke with a small groan that morning. the sunlight hitting his face directly from the window. sitting up, he rubbed the sleep from his eyes before kicking the blankets away despite the chilled morning autumn air. with a small stretch, the brunet made his way to the bathroom, doing his usual morning routine before he had to open shop. not really anything exciting today sadly. he was covering for Mabel, who decided to leave to be with her girlfriends for the day.

Dipper sighed as he swept up the Gift Shop, managing the rather cheap nicknacks that were neatly stacked on shelves before heading back to his position behind the counter. “Good news, kid,” Grunkle Stan called to him, “get ready tourists will be barging in here any minuet now. and make sure you keep things organized. because Sheesh, tourists sure can create a pigsty in minutes.” He said, looking around at the now clean gift shop. dipper couldnt help but chuckle at this. as much as he wanted to counter what he had said, dipper decided to keep it to himself. he glanced around the shop, wendy was by the register. Wendy was really cool and nice, pretty, and Dipper hated to admit, he once had a huge crush on her when he was in pre-teens but it was nice that they had become the best of friends growing up. She never changed. she sat by the cash register reading her usual magazine being Lady Lumberjacks Weekly. usually she’d  leave halfway through her shift to hang with her friends and/or Robbie. Then there was Soos, despite his child-like personality, he was a very kind person but he wasn’t good with customer service. at least in grunkle stan’s so he was mainly in charge of maintenance. Among his usual look-around, he heard the door’s bell chime. signaling someone walking in. Mocha eyes gazed at the direction of the enterance. “Hello, Welcome!” the curly haired teen greeted

“Oh, Youre not from around here? You’re in Gravity Falls. do you need any directions to anywhere in particular?” he offered, a small smile on his lips.

Sunset looked at the teen that had acknowledged her. He was tall, a little skinny, but not to the point where he was just skin and bone. She smiled and walked over to him, taking a look around the shop. There was a lot of… stuff? She couldn’t really figure out what half of this stuff was.

“Um, I’m not actually. I’m coming from California. I was visiting a friend. I don’t even know how I ended up here. I just kinda… drove. Gravity Falls never really popped up on map.” She said, sheepishly rubbing the back of her head.
