“Kid, just just because you’re young and weak now, doesn’t mean you can’t grow up to be bigger and stronger then you are now.” Shimmer said. “And besides, you can’t fight a demon because you aren’t strong enough… Yet.”
“I don’t even know if humans can, uh, fight demons. I mean… maybe, if they’re really well trained, and the demons are really weak…” Savanna rubbed her arm.
“How long is it gonna take me to get strong?”
“I won’t lie to you Sav, it’s gonna take a while. Things like that don’t just happen overnight, ya know. You gotta work for it, and stick with it.” Shimmer said, gently patting her in the shoulder.
