Shimmer pinched the bridge of her nose with a sigh, before saying “… Okay. Okay kid. I’m trusting you. But if this doesn’t 5, and the moment anything goes south, I want you to run from here as fast as you can, and don’t stop until you get somewhere safe. Don’t stop record, don’t look back and don’t try to help me. Do you understand?” Shimmer said in a serious tone, kneeling down and placing a hand on her shoulder.
“Y-Yeah.. yeah, I understand,” Savanna responded, not looking up at her and rubbing her arm. “I always run when there’s danger anyway. But apparently these guys can get really.. really big.. so if I upset a parent or a big demon and they come to destroy the, uh, the city, um.. um.. please don’t tell Nero I did it.”
