Sunset giggled softly at the boys contagious happiness. “Yeah, I do. I’ve been playing for about five years now. I started off with the more soft and melodical stuff, but as time went on… Well, I honestly fell in love with metal and hard rock. There’s just something about the raw energy of rocking your heart until you feel like dropping. Plus it’s a good outlet for all my pent up anger issues I have.” She said, rubbing a nervous hand behind her head.
“And for now, I am just visiting. I might stay for awhile because I have to admit, it is one of the more beautiful places I’ve seen.” She said with a smile. “And who knows? Maybe you and I could jam sometimes. If you can keep up me.” She said with a wink. “And speaking of, you wanna see my guitar?”
“ the classics are pretty great, but so’s the harder rock! music is great, because there’s so many styles that.. there’s really something out there for everybody! ” steven smiled up at her, before he tilted his head to the side. “ well, it’s good you’ve found an outlet for that anger, but don’t forget to talk about it, too! talking is pretty important for stuff like that. ”
the teen grinned delightedly when he heard sunset might be staying for a while. it was a chance to bond and hopefully make a great new friend, after all. how could he NOT love that prospect? “ oh, great! you’ll love it here, beach city is amazing! everyone’s super nice, and sometimes things get a little crazy, but.. we keep on top of it super well. i bet you’ll have fun here. ” the mention of her guitar however, prompted steven to bounce excitedly on the spot, nodding his head.
“ yeah, totally! ”
“I would talk to someone about it, but I haven’t really had anyone to talk to. I’ve… I’ve got a long story to tell, Steven…"
With a grin, Sunset gently undid the straps on her case, gently letting it fall to the ground. Looking back at Steven, she undid the latches and slowly pushed it reveling a bright, cyan blue, six-string, Flying V shaped guitar. It gleamed in the sunlight, almost appearing to glow.
