Before she could leave though, Sunset quickly turned her around and wrapped her in a hug, whispering in her ear, “Please… Be safe…”

… That broke her. Normally Yuri wasn’t one for tears to spill, but she burst into sobs as soon as she felt Sunset’s embrace. “It’s.. it’s…” She couldn’t finish again, throwing her arms around her while being immensely careful with the knife.

Sunset held the girl tighter, tears streaming down her face. “Shhh, I’m here… I’m here… It’ll be ok..”
