“My, what a strange being…Traversing to the center of a black hole.”
Black hair shifted as the physical form of said black hole stood to tower over the girl. Dark blue eyes with no light whatsoever studied her. No one ever paid Sigma a visit…
“This is not your true form, is it?”
The murky water that flood the space the two stood in started to quake and become darker. Out of the pond came a monster made of stellar dust and stars.
“Scorpio, looks like you get a meal today.”
Sigma nuzzled the mind controlled scorpion constellation affectionately before letting it loose on the horse turned human.
Sunset wasn’t sure how exactly she had ended up here. One minute she was training in New York with a mystic arts master, the next… She was here. At the center of a black hole? How was this even possible?!
She didn’t have time to question it. As she was getting her bearings, she heard the voice speak up, but couldn’t make out what it was saying. It sounded female. As her vision cleared, she saw a large scorpion shape move towards her. Mind reeling, she sent out a large plum of fire, before running as fast as her legs could physically carry her.
Sigma caught the fireball with ease and after making it into a more manageable size, ate it down. Though it tasted a bit more sweeter than Sigma usually liked.
“Tastes like hero magic…”
She watched Scorpio go after the young hero with interest. Sigma rarely got such a show in her own domain!
“I wonder who sent you to me? Perhaps someone really must hate you.”
To help her dear monster, she makes the ground beneath the water shake.
Sunset panted with exertion as she desperately ran, trying to find somewhere, ANYWHERE to hide as the beast behind her gained.
She almost tripped over her own feet as she felt the ground beneath her shake, the movement catching her off balance as she fell to her knees, the water soaking in through her jeans and making them cling to her skin. She staggered to her feet before bolting off again, trying not to lose her footing.
Drawing down, she called upon the magic deep in her core. She groaned in pain as a set of red and black wings sprouted from her back, her eyes growing slits with a dark cyan tint, looking almost cat-like and her canines sharped into small fangs. With one strong push, she was up in the air.
She paused briefly, relishing in the safety of the sky as she tried to catch her breath.
Well, a change! Sigma doesn’t seem all too shocked and grins before pursuing. Scorpio couldn’t follow out into the weightlessness of space but she still could.
“I thought heroes NEVER turned their backs to villains!~”
Sigma took the black orb that sat in the middle of the crescent ring that floated around her. It was thrown in Sunset’s direction and as it did, expanded out into darkness seeking to pull the hero in.
Sunset shouted with surprise as she felt herself get pulled by an unknown force. She desperately flapped her wings and struggled against the pull, but still felt herself slowly getting closer and closer to the dark Mass.
Sigma observed the struggle with glee! Some still tried despite the mere fact it was impossible to escape the pull their core gave off. The villain floated over to hover in front of the struggling hero.
“Why do you fight? Your doom is certain whether now or 90 years.”
Sunset grunted with rage and exertion as her cyan eyes grew a deep blood red, and her scleras turning a dark black. A low, deep, demonic grow formed in her chest and she screamed in rage as she let out a large goute of black fire spewed from her mouth, a small line of blood streaming from the edge of her mouth as she poured out every ounce of power she could muster.
