She squeezed her arm tight and closed her eyes tight while fighting back tears. “My girlfriend broke up with me. She told me right in front of my face that she is dating guys.” She suddenly stomped her foot on the tile floor.
Sunset winced in sympathy as the girl told her her plight. “Man… I’m sorry. I can’t say I know what that feels like, but I’ve had… Old friends go through really tough break-ups. I know it’s hard for you right now, but trust me, it’s not the end of the world, even though it feels like it. What’s your name?” She asked.
“Luna. Luna Loud.” The girl looked at her. She smiled a bit. “Heh. Your hair looks awesome.” She said.
“Well Luna, it’s nice to meet you. I’m Sunset. Sunset Shimmer. And thanks.” She said with a smile, and a quick flip of a hair. “And before you ask, it’s not dyed. It’s allll natural.”
“Wow. I never need anyone with natural hair like that!” She reached out and touched it.
Sunset chuckled softly as she felt the girl run her hand through her hair. “I like yours too. The pixie cut look suits you.” She said with a smile. “So, what do you like to listen to?” Sunset asked, hoping to distract her from her current predicament.
